Great performance, important win. Utterly bossed it bar a short spell after they went 1-0 up against the run of play. Takarada ran the show from the middle and Rantala was a thorn in their side throughout.

They were doing so well for the first half hour. Not on top all that time but the game was 50/50 and City could easily have taken the lead. However the last 15 minutes of the first half Chelsea upped their game and City couldn't cope and after that first goal it was going to be an upward task. The second was just a simple mistake and too much power by their centre forward. It was a case of just how many in the second half

Just caught up on the draw for the qualifiers for the next Euros, which hopefully we'll have quite a few squad members involved in. Quite incredible that they've designed a format so convulted with so little end product, really don't think it does much for the game.
