saw them outside the ground but they wernt smashing windows then. i think they followed the busses up the road and threw bricks and concrete. young lads prob 16-17 quite alot of them. sounds like some got on the busses.
no police to be seen.

Ye thats what i think happened, i got a lift to the game with some southampton fans and i met them outside the away fans turnstiles. A drunk lcfc fan, probaly about 25-7, got a saints fan by the scarf and started on him for what looked like to be no reason, there was an army of about 15 of them standing on and watching. Then one of them went up to my mate whos 15 and started singing in his face, burberry capped chavs!!!!!, its embarrasing!!!:icon_redf :icon_redf

I don't understand why there would be no police escort? Theres normally tonnes of police outside the ground waiting to escort the coaches out. Prehaps there are diffrent rules on what clubs must provide for coaches in the FA cup or in the Championship:confused::confused:

dont think police were expecting any trouble today. no reason to be

I hope they catch these twats and lock them up.

After the over policing of the Cardiff game maybe the police thought there'd be no trouble today - Southampton are usually a friendly bunch.

But if we're going to have our chavvy twats causing trouble we'll end up with more police at even low profile matches, and the club will have to pay higher policing costs.
No doubt those idiots who only go to games to cause trouble aren't interested if their 'hobby' affects the transfer budget, I doubt they watch the matches anyway, too busy making gestures and shouting abuse at the away fans.

bring back stocks and public lynchings i say, arseholes that ruin the name of football more so than newcastle united's players do in the bigg market.

Yeah they won't come to our town again, those useless Southampton South Coast tnucs. We sure showed 'em.... Who's next? Wolves? Bet we don't see any of that repeat itself when their firm arrives next week...You watch. Pathetic.

No police escort so we got bogged down in traffic.

About 10 or so kids around about 15 with a couple of adults started banging on the windows and trying to open the doors. They managed to get the door opened on our coach but the driver and a couple of guys at the front chased them off.

As we moved forward in the traffic they went to the coach behind and I could see them throwing stones at it. One of them managed to get abord the coach behind but he was off in seconds, he obviously wasn't quite so brave when he might have had to actually fight someone.

Saw a couple of them walking back up the road away from the coach behind and as they passed us I saw one of them had a fist size rock with pointed edges in his hand, which I presume is what was used to smash a window on the coach behind.

Seeing as there were children as young as five on our coach I thought their behaviour was despicable and would be extremely pleased to see Leicester relegated now.

This is disgraceful and embarrassing. They should lock the tossers up.

How brave of them, I doubt if any of them travel to away games, so if there ever is any sort of retribution, it's us poor sods who kop it. Morons.

Arseholes, I had to walk past a group of idiots, I seen a Saints fan and commented to one of them with a young lad, 'good luck in the next round', trying to make a uncomfortable sitaution a bit more bearable.

there were alot more than 10 when i saw them, upto 50 around that time. got a feeling they will be around for wolves as i have a feeling they were even singing outside when cardiff were here. i remember there being an amount of rtouble around the away fans coaches last time we played wolves at home. although im sure that this time there will be a police escort due to there feck up.

This is just disgraceful and I blame the police 100% for this. I always thought our boys in blue had to provide an escort for away fans coaches. What the feck happened yesterday? Were they too busy standing around in riot gear trying to look the part, than being in the right place to protect the fans from each other? Also if these problems happened while the fans were getting on the coaches outside the stadium, then the culprits should be found on the CCTV cameras and identified. Then again are they too busy trying to catch sly bastards who have the nerve to stray 5 miles over the speed limit, or scum of the earth drivers who use a mobile phone while driving, rather than spend a little time scanning the CCTV images....

The club pay good money to have the matches policed, and that should include providing an escort to away coaches.
Its all very well saying Southampton fans are not the same as Cardiff, so we dont need so much Old Bill down for that game, but Leicester has its own share of trouble makers, and the Southampton fans deserve to be protected from those too. The amount of time I see a copper with a video camera, they should know by now who are the trouble makers.....

Maybe our beloved Foxes Trust could shed some light on this matter.

I am sorry about the rant but I have little time for our police, and they give me no confidence what so ever......:icon_evil :icon_evil :icon_evil :icon_evil :icon_evil

I think you'll find it wasn't the police who attacked the coaches :icon_roll

It wouldn't have happened had the police given the away fans an escort.
