We don't know if it was a police free game but will find out.

Webbo is quite right here though, it's the yobs that are at fault not the police.

We pay taxes for many different reasons, but can't say stopping wannabe yobs throwing concrete was particularly one you would have in mind.

We hope the idiots are identified & certainly given life bans from the ground which is what we will urge the club to do.

All they achieve is negative for our club & fans
- police costs go up
- our fan base gets identified as trouble making & all supporters get treated like animals at other grounds.

agree completely. all i saw all day was two community support officers. seeming as the incidents took place away from the ground when the vehicles were in traffic i doubt wether the club will be able to ban anyone.

Me and my two boys walked past the coaches, there were about 20-30 boys standing near one of the midlle coaches singing and making gestures, as we walked on we heard a couple of bangs - like coaches being thumped or hit. There were llots of Soton fans passing though us to get to the coaches.

My 9 year old said why are they doing that Dad? I couldnt think of a decent answer. I felt very ashamed for while, but feck its really just the minority, mindless, stupid, juvenile minority. Unfortunately, its tars us all with the same brush as far as the Southampton fans go, and far as any new reports go.

It really put the icing on a shit day for the three of us. I thought we'd left this crap behind.

Same feeling here, I'm all for banter but stuff like that's a fecking joke. Also, the window-breaking, if want a fecking scrap have one against their 'firm', just leave the normal people alone. People on them coaches were honest, simple footie fans, as been said a six-year old on the bus. He must have been over the moon when that goal went in at the end, only to see some silly cnut jump on the bus. It's no Southampton are Millwall either. I honestly some of them getting a felling in next time they take law into their own hands.

Great post Chuck, what really pisses me off, is these chavs are the same little cnuts who no doubt have a go for not singing "Stand up if you love Leicester". These people arent true Leicester City or football supporters. The problem that runs through society now is that too many of that age range have absolutely no respect for people, authority or possessions.

It was a disgraceful act carried out by cowards, I just hope that nobody was injured, it doesnt put decent people off attending football and that the reputation of Leicester City FC is not too tarnished.

I am only 32 years old but I really believe National Service may be the only way to drum any sort of respect and discipline into this generation, there are so many fcukwits out there now and a good old dose of army discipline might be the only way to resolve the issue.

Despite being 17 and over-weight. I would not disagree there.

I am also 32, and as long as the cut off is about 30ish (or, to put it another way, under 32), then I'm happy to go along with that :icon_razz :038:

The problem is Hazz, that your age group are now being stereotyped, and i have no doubt that there are many of your age range that are still decent and respectful individuals, but you are being letdown by a minority section who believe that "mass intimidation" is big and clever, the fact is that if one on one against anyone of sound body and mind, they would no doubt shit themselves and run a mile. This breed is a cancer of our society and one born of our liberal and lax attitude to discipline and punishment.

I think someone blaming thew police for the action of our hooligans is serious. Do you think it's a joking matter?

I agree Webbo, this is serious but I don't think we should bother discussing it anymore as the, as you put it, 'chavs', will probably be round their mates' houses lapping all this attention up. We know they are pathetic so let's just draw a line under it now rather than encourage them.

One thing that did annoy me on the post from 'Benj' of So'ton that Singth posted up on here is that he said "I'd be glad to see Leicester go down now." which is about as short sighted as you can get. A small minority of tossers have now made some people despise Leicester, not despise a few tossers, despise Leicester. As someone from Leicester, this is not a nice thing to hear. Alas, we will be stuck with these prats and will have to, like most other clubs, endure their idiotic, brainless behaviour.

All I can say is this - support your team, and don't tarnish everyone with the same brush.

It is a small minority, but spoils it for the rest of us. I had been on the lash yesterday afternoon and got quite angry about the whole thing.
I am still angry about it, because I try and put my self in the same position as those Southampton fans. I take my young sons to matches all over the country, so far without hassle. I never go on coaches because of past experiences, and I will not put my sons in that position. I still believe strongly that protection should have in place for these fans, and whoever it was who thought an escort was not needed ia a cnut........

Top post BG, I have the same issues as yourself, I dont want my daughter to feel scared or intimidated at the football, I want her to enjoy it. The clubs want to attract the next generation, so they have to take appropriate action against any troublemakers, ban the cnuts for life and give football back to the respectful and proper fans, it should be about banter and having a laugh not busting windows and intimidation.

i wasn't even commenting on that i was commenting on how you kept arguing with bg just because he said it was 100% ok maybe it wasn't the best way to phrase it but he did say the wankers themselves were to blame-you argued with him unneccessarily.

:038: :038: :038: Maybe it was not the best phrased postings, but you know what I meant. I had sunk a few as well, and words didn't come easily to mind, apart from "I love you" and "you're my best mate you are"

PS where shall I send the cheque to.....
