None of it is a joke at your expense, trust me. It’s hard to put your finger on why certain things become tropes on here but this one honestly isn’t aimed at you. Your honest mistake has become a recurring joke, like I say it’s the way of the forum.

Anyone would think England have a wealth of creative attacking players and that they have been winning matches without playing Maddison.

He was injured for the first two matches and hasn't played much for England. I think he should have come on instead of Mount as well but the moaning about it is getting a bit dull.

To avoid having to justify why he didn’t pick him in the squad announcement press conference. One and only reason: Maddison picking up an injury was perfect for the gormless twat.

I hope the French stuff ‘em. Mbappe up against Walker and Stones will hopefully be fun viewing.

That may indeed be childish and pathetic. But that doesn’t apply to me.

I don’t want the French to win because our player didn’t get picked. I want the French to win because I don’t like the England football team. As with every game they play, I’d want them to lose whether we had a player in the team or not.
