I think there may be a problem with the way time data is converted. Honestly, I converted the times that the posts were posted and the time came back as posted after the kick off. Jeff, can you fly out to Australia and check it? If I've got it wrong, which presuming by the rhetoric of the last few posts I surely have, then I apologise profusely. Genuine mistake (if indeed it was a mistake on my part). A new results table will follow if I've bodged it up.
So they both predicted the wrong results some time after the final whistle? Here's my view of the posts. Jeff, take a look and tell me what went wrong, please.
You might be in to something here Jeff:What time zone are you in?
And have you got it set up correctly here: https://talkingballs.uk/account/preferences

Jeff, I changed my time zone to my local time zone and the new time of the posts in question look even later. See attached. What's going on?You might want to change that.
It could try to do that. But it would need to check your everyone's IP address against a database, which is not very reliable. The most reliable way is to default to UK time and let people in different locations change it in their account. Which you appear to have done, but you picked the wrong time zone.I will, I'm a little surprised that talkingballs.uk doesn't recognise one's location/time zone automatically.

So the date stamp of posts is static and not reactive to a user's change to their time zone?
You're currently nine hours ahead of UK time.
So yesterday at 4:13 AM was 7:13PM on Wednesday in the UK. The match kicked off at 7:45PM.
Your new time zone is 21 hours ahead of your old one. The time on the posts has also moved forward 21 hours.
What do you think isn't right?
It didn't just change by itself. And I didn't do it.That all checks out ok. Just wondering if you can shed some light on why on Earth my time zone was set to American Samoa in the first place. That seems to have caused an awful lot of problems.
