I still haven't been to a game this season but I'm going to try to get to the Newcastle game this Saturday.
 
I read that Basketball got a 1.5million deal for coverage of Basketball on MKTV on Sky over 10 yrs. I thought it was a poor deal, the channel is not even heard of.

Today, I watch SSN and they reveal SKY are set to show Netball once a week and 6 England internationals.

Fecking Netball getting better coverage!!

- Worcester are doing well.
- Leicester have two games this weekend. On Friday they travel to Milton Keynes and Saturday they host Plymouth at 7:30pm.
 
i dont live to far away from the gym and play footy there every week, still havnt managed to get down for a game. i love supporting any leicester side, apart from those egg chasers down the road.
 
The Riders win an important game at the bottom of the table away to Chester today.... 112-67. After the first quarter they were winning 32-4.

Saturday night they lost at home 85-72

Riders lost by a point to league leaders Guildford on Saturday.

A new British superstar has been found, Lewis McCullough on his debut scored 45 points for Chester.

Riders are 9th with a 6-14 record, Chester 6-13 for the last play-off spot.

The BBL has also revealed plans to expand into a 16 team league, this in accordance with the plans to improve the sport in time for a competitive team for 2012 Olympics.
 
Riders despite their money troubles and having 7 fit players, they won on Saturday by two against Scottish Rocks.

On Sunday, they lost to playoff rivals Chester Jets by two.

They remain 9th after last night's defeat with 7 matches left.

The short-term future of the club was secured in the week

Friday, Riders lost to Plymouth in the BBL Trophy.

Saturday in front of the biggest crowd of the season at JSC, they beat table toppers Guildford, overtaking Chester in the process meaning Riders are currently in the playoffs with 13 matches left.

Chester lost on Sunday against Scottish Rocks meaning they have one game in hand. London United won over the weekend to go on 18 pts.
