Nearly there. Infuriatingly just the one to go - and I should know it!

How could you forget the lanky scouser Paul Fitzpatrick.

One of a select band of players that have represented Leicester City and Leicester United. Now there's a tricky quiz question . . .

eeerrr....

... because the picture isn't ginger enough

... because I thought he was even more lanky than he appears in the picture.

I did actually consider him but then discounted him for those two reasons.

Colin Gordon, Tony James, xxxx, Kevin Poole, Steve Walsh, Des Linton;
Nicky Platnauer, Tommy Wright, Paul Reid , David Oldfield, Gary Mills

This kit was worn 1990-1992. This looks like a Pleatout squad from the first of these two seasons - no Brian Little imports there. I wonder what the occasion was

Looks very pre season to me. That team finished third from bottom whereas little's the following season qualified for the play offs with only a few signings.

And because I was thinking it was a 1990/91 photo with no Brian Little influence. I think Fitzpatrick was actually Little's first signing.

Edit: Colin Gordon would have been a Little signing as well.

And Poole! What was I thinking about?

And Platnauer ffs!

Shambles.

What has Hammond done wrong so far? He is a strong, intelligent, experienced player, just the sort we need against Burnley.

Mike is to be congratulated for at least trying to understand the enigma that is Dean Hammond. Of course "strong intelligent experienced" could apply to any number of Premier League players.

It is - sorry Mike - a superficial account. of a player who since the arrival of KP must be a major point of contention from Thailand to Taiwan. Not since Bruno Oliveira used to stand next to Paulo Sousa offering bad advice has Leicester had anyone as baffling as Dean Hammond.

I feel a new thread coming on .

Linton! Goodness gracious.

I suspected Plataneur and Gordon were in there too.

Where is all the forum action on the eve of this important fixture?

I reckon 2-1 and all betting slips in the concourse to have been scribbled on by some muppet but not used to make a bet.

Lesbian avenue!!!

Burnley were the first team to win at the (then) Walkers Stadium. They were also the first team, IIRC, to make us swap ends and play towards the kop in the first half.
