I thought that about league cup but we still got big crowdsThink it's £10 for season ticket holders and £15 for general sale. After the first game that looks poor value for money to watch a reserve team.

The plan is just for the West Stand to be open, but if there's enough demand they'll open other areas of the ground.
all of whom also played their second string sidesAgainst Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester City though. Not Fleetwood.

Looks like demand exceeded what they expected.
I think they've sold more that expected
I expect so.That's agreed then!
I'd like us to take this competition a bit more seriously. We're looking like we're going to be easily safe this year - only 9 more points needed. Let's go for cup glory. Particularly as we know we've drawn another lower league team in the next round if we get through this. I'd avoid starting Benalouane at all costs - Dragovic + another for me, maybe Huth if he's ready? I'd go with Silva + Iborra in midfield, Gray + Albrighton out wide and probably Slim + Iheanacho up front to start and make sure we take the big guns Vardy and Mahrez on the bench in case it's not going to plan with 20 or 30 to go....
Isn’t Chilwell suspended?Jakupovic
Amartey
Dragovic
Maguire
Chilwell
Gray
Silva
Iborra/King
Albrighton
Slimani
Ulloa/Iheanacho
That's a more than adequate team to beat Fleetwood.
Completely agree with your sentiments. Won’t happen in a million years though.Full strength for me including JV and RM, for the reasons in the first half of your post. We can win all three matches, but I’d rather win this and Peterboro and drop points v Watford on Saturday than the other way round. We can still get 7th (6th?) if we drop points Saturday, we won’t be able to win the cup if we do something silly tomorrow.
I suspect it won’t happen though and that Slim will lead the line.

I haven’t seen us get to the semis of the FA Cup in my lifetime, but sadly one or two places difference in the Premier League is worth far more financially to the club than winning the FA Cup. Until that changes, clubs like ours won’t take the FA Cup seriously.
