Head-to-head

  • The most recent competitive meetings were in the 2022-23 Premier League, when Steve Cooper's Nottingham Forest lost 4-0 away in October 2022 and won 2-0 at home the following January.
  • Forest's solitary victory in their past seven away games against Leicester was by 2-0 in the Championship in November 2013 (D2, L4).
Leicester City

  • Leicester can earn three successive Premier League wins for the first time since January 2021 under Brendan Rodgers.
  • Their only Premier League triumph in 13 attempts on a Friday was 9-0 at Southampton on 25 October 2019. It's the biggest away win in English top-flight history.
  • Leicester are one of just two teams to have scored in all eight of their Premier League fixtures this season, alongside Manchester City.
  • Steve Cooper was appointed as Nottingham Forest's head coach in September 2021, guiding them from the bottom of the Championship table to promotion that season. Cooper was sacked in December 2023 with the club 17th in the top flight.
  • Facundo Buonanotte has been involved in five goals in his past six Premier League appearances for Leicester, scoring three and setting up two.
Nottingham Forest

  • Forest can win back-to-back league matches for the first time since last December, when they beat Newcastle and Manchester United.
  • They are unbeaten in six consecutive Premier League away games for the first time since a run of 12 from February to October 1995.
  • Only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals than the six by Nottingham Forest in the top flight this season.
  • Nuno Espirito Santo's side are unbeaten in their past seven fixtures against promoted opposition, winning the last three.
  • They scored the opening goal in seven of their eight Premier League matches this season. The exception was a 1-0 home defeat by Fulham.
  • Chris Wood has scored five goals in 11 Premier League appearances against Leicester City, who he helped to win the Championship title in 2013-14.

Hermansen, Ricardo, Okoli, Faes, Justin, Winks, Ndidi, Mavididi, Buonanotte, Fatawu, Vardy.

I predict that this line up sees us comfortably beaten.
