Wow, despite the score - that was just not very good IMO. How Gray and Kapustka can't get a look in ahead of Albrighton is beyond me. The midfield looks brainless lacking in creativity. Long ball after long ball. Many times we've given the ball away sloppily, there have been numerous examples of players just not been on the same wavelength. And yet we lead... it's a funny old game.

Vardy has probably been the stand out player for us so far and for me, the only one you can say who's probably had a good performance in that half.

What is our plan? Every ball is sent over the top and cleaned up by their big men. Mahrez hasn't had a ball to his feet the whole game. Slimani has had few to his head.

If Mahrez is on he needs the ball to feet and to run at the defence. Albrighton needs the ball down the side and then into Slimani's head.

We've had too much Vards and not enough anyone else.

But they're not even lumping it to him. Mostly it's trying to put it over the top to Vards and once even Mahrez.

What a truly awful performance.

King has done ok defensively. He's not been great by any stretch but he's done ok. Slimani has worked hard all half and did excellently for the goal. It was a very smart finish by Mahrez.

Other than that we have been terrible. Albrighton's crossing has been woeful. And our one and only tactic of long ball from inside our half has been so easy to defend. And clearly we've worked well on defending corners.
