6-0

De Laet, Konchesky, James, Vardy, Drinkwater and Beckford (coming on as sub) to score.

Post Match Thread to be only 1 page as nobody has anything to moan about. The only post coming from cafe admitting he has been spouting rubbish for the past year and finally trundles off to wherever he came from.

Everything seemed very possible until the final sentence.

3-1

Matty James from the half-way line,
Jamie Vardy to score with a miscontrolled first touch,
and Antony Knockaert to nutmeg the keeper.

Koren to get his standard 25 yard rifle against us.

Faced Blackpool in similar form and got a deserved victory against them.

If(a BIG if)we play as in the last 3 games it will be a nightmare for your defence.
Our attackers are changing position constantly and at pace.
3,000 expected from Hull

Something which would have been literally impossible with Fryatt in the side.

I'm assuming Vardy's will be from the halfway line too then. :icon_wink

It is difficult to choose a team since we do not know how fit Zak is and have seen so little of him; we have also seen very little of Futacs. I would keep the same team with the possible exception of Zak for St Ledger. Knockaert seemed to me to do enough to keep his place ahead of Dyer.

If people have to boo I hope they will wait until full time when we know the result..

I would like to see Beckford and Danns but i know it will not happen. Why he has them on the bench i don't know as he seems to have no intention of putting them on. How must Beckford feel when we are chasing a game and he sees Waghorn put on ahead of him.
I hate to say it but 1-3. Koren will inevitably score. Marshall for us.

Totally off thread but have you seen Laudrup"s interview! He sees nothing wrong with other mid table teams paying a suitcase full of money to Hull City to be more motivated to beat you lot!
Laudrup -brilliant player-thick as a plank.
Back on thread. We will of course respect yourselves and the other mid table sides and try to give you all a damn good thrashing.

Beckford is probably thinking I wish Larry would stop being a tight bugger and pay my wages so I can go out on loan.

What exactly is wrong with what Laudrup said?

How is giving someone an extra financial incentive to go out and win a game, which in theory they would be doing anyway, wrong in any way?

I'm not sure our defence is that bad...

I'm sure he is, and if he does not want to be here fair enough. Generally speaking i'm not a supporter of 'Pearson out' yet, but i do take issue with his management of players like Beckford. If you are paid a decent wedge to manage a team surely one of the basics is getting the best out of talented but complex personalities. I have been a manager of a smallish team of staff and you have to learn and accept that you approach each one differently, to maximise their strengths and minimise the weaknesses. I do have concerns that his style is too one dimensional in this regard. You may not like a team member but if they can get you a result surely you have to play them.

Pearson proved with SSL he is happy to bring a player back into the fold if it is right for the team.

Exactly. I've seen people mention the falling out with Howard, despite the fact that they worked well together for 2 years before. Gradel wanted to leave because we couldn't offer him first team football and his family life was not great. He's hardly set the world alight elsewhere so I don't see it as a bad mood, it certainly didn't seem a case of falling out with someone. DJ hasn't lasted more than a season at any club I don't think, maybe 2 at Blackpool? He also made it very clear he didn't want to play for us so I'm not sure why Pearson should be trying to change his mind?

Most people were anti-Mills last season but as SPL as he's sold it's apparently due to bad man management? Those who seek them will find/fabricate flaws everywhere.

True, but the exception rather than the rule Willow. Perhaps Beckford and SSL could yet save NP his job.

Pearson played Beckford last season and he started this season. He has fallen down the pecking order as he wasn't scoring. We tried to get him out on loan as Pearson obviously thought Kane would do as good a job, if not better, for less money. Again, I can't see where the supposed bad man management is.
