But surely it is also bonkers to select a player who's inclusion coincided with the poorest run of form in the season and defensive instability, the fact he was continually selected despite this and that his run in the side was curtailed only by an unfortunate injury, this subsequent absence has since seen us go on an excellent run of form and pretty impressive defensive performances.
Kisnorbo is brilliant, leave it. McAuley was the best defender this club has ever seen, leave him alone too. We are poorer in their absence.

Who said it was the Managers idea ?

I don't think anything has happened on the playing side this season unless it was the manager's idea. In any case MM will be no less keen than anybody else to see us promoted.

I don't disagree with a word of that, but can only presume that his run in the line-up was continued in the hope that he would get back to last year's form and make the same kind of partnership with Tuchev that he had had with McAuley last season. Yes, in the face of the evidence the decision to do that was bonkers - but I am absolutely sure that it had nothing to do with any future transfer value.

id love to keep gilbert if possible, davies was awesome on saturday but doubt wolves would let him go, hobbs and martin are both crap IMO and i wouldnt complain if they went back to liverpool now.

I agree about Gilbert and Davies, but would prefer to see Hobbs and Martin on the bench than see them return to Liverpool. Whether that will be an option I'm not sure.

Well, I'm no expert but I'd imagine it to be fairly quiet.

No, not at all quiet. To clone they have to remove a finger or a toe with a pair of pliers and no anaesthetic because that would damage the cells. Clonees scream like pigs they do.

Thanks for your help.

I am sorry Melton but a far better Leicester defender died last month.

In retrospect I think Kisnorbo could have done with a period on loan to get match fit. I have been surprised that Nigel has picked Hobbs ahead of Morrison. I think Morrison needs a bit more muscle (but not too much) and a lot more experience which he will only get by being picked. It is easy to forget that although they are both young Hobbs is far more experienced than Morrison.
