Ian Holloway certainly turned a few heads when he arrived at the Belvoir Drive training ground today (Thursday).
The City boss coasted in driving his daughter's 1971 orange VW 1303S Beetle - which has a rather apt number plate.

He said: "We have had it for just over a year now and we love it. We bought it off the internet when I was down at Plymouth and she's been brilliant.

"I had some work done on it the other day so I had to pick it up this morning. I've had some funny looks but I don't care - I really like it.
"I've always liked them as a car. I think this is the fourth or fifth one I've had. They're great.

"The number plate was a pure fluke. You wouldn't believe it would you?"

Check out a full feature with Ollie and his wheels on ITV Central News tonight at 6:15pm.
Meanwhile, watch our free video of Ollie setting off on his way!

Newts I know you dislike the bloke but surely you have better things to do with your day and worse things (though I hope not) to get angry over than this?

Seems people are still looking for any excuse to string him up. Stick to the results on the pitch, not the car he's driving

He's just pissed because holloway has got the number plate "N3WTS"

It's just a bit of light relief, surely :102:

People were wanking themselves daft on here a few months ago because a previous manager was writing 'hilarious and entertaining' weekly blogs about life on the training round etc.

Can't see much difference really

It makes me laugh that theres actually a short video clip of him driving a car

Thanks. For. That.

Exactly, it makes me wonder sometimes how people get so bent out of shape over things like this.

As for making us look daft, does anyone here really read other teams OS, especially often enough to be sure they never do this, or to pass judgement on them?

Yes i know it is but, don't you think its the wrong time to do something like this ,when one we could still go down ,some people don't think the sun shines out of IH back side :102:

if we where safe i would more then likely find it funny :icon_wink.

Yhe your right it is the wrong time for him to be driving a car, how dare he.:icon_conf
