I get the impression he knows nothing about anything

I am sure he is doing his best Melton, but as RF has said, it is never going to be good enough!

The Board should have taken the plunge with Billy Davies when they had the chance.

Hopefully the 3 loan signings indicate that MM is directing things because whilst Kelly is so -called manager there is no point in making any long term moves in the transfer market.

I appreciate that there is a danger of demonising Kelly - and that's not fair because he is not ultimately to blame. But i never thought that even if MM had taken over by now that he would back Kelly with any real money.

Basically, there is nothing whatsoever in kelly's record to indicate that he can either pick or motivate players.

im not having a direct go at kelly as a person.ive said all allong move him back down to his old job or at least let him see out any contract he has with the club. just not as manager though.
the 3 loanees are obviously been made by the club and not kelly.he didnt want gw to go to watford but he went. somebody is pulling the strings.
mm said he has missed out on 3 signings because of the delay.those 3 signings would have been picked by mm alone.
i agree with you rf, kelly has become a joke when it comes to motivating and picking the team:icon_cool

What I meant was, that MM knew nothing about the loan deals that had been done

RK doesn't have a clue when it comes to management. He has a plan A (generous) but no plan B. Even worse than that is that the players are not playing for him. There is no passion what so ever. He needs to resign or be sacked.
The ref and linesman were very poor yesterday. But the fact that our players virtually never complain at a decision mean that they can get away with it.

We should still have defended the goal better.

My main problem with the ref yesterday was that he seemed spineless. Every time we had a freekick, he would pull their wall back to 10yards, and they'd stand at 9. So he'd wave his arm and indicate "come back a bit", they didn't so he just waved the freekick to be taken.

It happens alot and I think it further shows why players don't respect the refs.

Unfortunately I am not sure RK is any good as a coach (maybe youth team yes). The only time we looked half decent was when Graydon was on board.

Coventry (a) Scum
Macclesfield (H) Worst league team in the country at the time
Southend (h) Had lost every away game at that point
Colchester (h) worst away record in the division
Barnsley (h) sitting just above bottem 3
Cardiff (h) Team way out of form at that time

In 35 games so far this season, these are the only teams we have stopped from scoring. And 4 of these match’s came in the first 6 weeks of the season. That’s 2 clean sheets since September its obvious where are frailties are. We have not let in a shed load of goals but we have an inability to keep a clean sheet If we had done so in a third of our match’s that would have guaranteed us at least 6 more points and we would now be sitting in mid table instead of looking over our shoulders at the bottom of the table.

Arguably the best performances this season have been in games against premiership opposition in the cup competitions, yet we let in 9 goals in those 3 games.

Kisnorbo has been the most consistent player and McAuley the pick of RK signings the combination of the back for needs to be sorted Maybury does not appear up to the task Nissa has been left out for to long with no explanation, Stearman seems to have gone backwards in his development and IMO will not benefit from playing in mid-field. Henderson’s kicking does not relieve the pressure on the defence and on Saturday he kept kicking to Levi the smallest bloke on the pitch WHY? The same tactic was used when Low played and it did not work then. :018:
