The squad lacks in depth, if we get injuries we will be stretched to the limit

We have 8 defenders, 9 midfielders and 6 strikers.

Even if you wiped out the entire first team you would still be left playing:

Logan, Morrison, Hobbs, O'Neill, Powell, Gradel, King, Burns, Adjaravic, Waghorn and Dickov, with subs of Verma, Chambers and Clemence.

What sort of pandemic/plague are you anticipating? Our second XI would certainly have given a very good account of itself in League One and could probably hold the fort for a few games in the Championioship.

Weale

Morrison
Hobbs
Brown
Berner

N'Guessan
Oakley
Wellens
Adams

Howard
Waghorn

SUBS: Logan, O'Neill, Powell, Dyer, Gradel, Fryatt, Dickov

I'm very much down with that.

Fryatt needs match practise, this is the perfect game for him to get that. Give him 60 minutes and if he is knackered bring Waghorn on.

2-0 win, Berner and Howard with zee goals! YAR!

This is an opportunity to run the rule over some of the fringe players and to build match fitness for those who didn't have a full preseason. This side should get through against pretty much the worse side in the league easily:

------------Logan-------------

Neilson-Morrison-Tunchev-Powell

N'Guessan--King-Adams--Gradel

------Fryatt---Waghorn-------

I can't remember from last season... did Pearson put out a strong team or a 2nd string for the cup games? I seem to remember it being a strong team, and think it will be.

So:

Weale
Morrisson, Hobbs, Brown, Berner
N'Guessan, Oakley, Wellens, Dyer
Howard, Fryatt

Could well be one of the biggest games in Leicester's history then. I just hope we could keep the score down. :icon_bigg
