Thanks BG, I was starting to think I was the only one proud of our achievement this season. Good post on expanding what I was alluding to. I've sat on my hands a bit by not posting about this before but that was the final straw coming the day after we went up as Champions. Welld done City.

He's good at expanding, his waistline has been for the past 5 years

There has seemed to be something wrong with the club for a number of years. We were nearly relegated under Craig Levein and then under Rob Kelley (saved by Nigel Worthington). My understanding is that attitudes got worse under Martin Allen. The under-rated Ian Holloway tried manfully to turn the mess around but was never able to. This brings me to my point. Nigel Pearson has taken a mess and created a Leicester City team for the first time since the days of Deane and Dickov.
I was disappointed at the time that Ian Holloway was not given a pre-season and thought his sacking was a knee-jerk reaction to a relegation for which Martin Allen was to blame.
I have changed my mind. I now believe that harsh or not we needed a new start and Nigel Pearson has changed attiutudes where Levein, Kelley, Allen and Holloway were unable to.
It is the new attitude which is Nigel Pearson's achievement. Winning the League is a symptom of that.

Ian Holloway was the same as Highland Fox....... A ****ing ****! and a **** with a ****ing big gob,the ****ing ****!

That will teach you you ****ing ****, ****ing posting ******* slander about me you ****ing ****!
Thats ****ing upset me you ****ing **** **** ****!

Rotter!

We weren't saved by Worthington. We finished 11 points clear of relegation, he only won six points when he was in charge.

If I had a pound for every time I've written and read that...

We were 17th with a game in hand when Holloway took over, i dont think anyone thought we would get relegated when he did, yes, the club may have been struggling, but he quite clearly made them worse. He has a far worse record than Levein or Kelly did.
