He's already played in the Championship and Premier League and proved himself there.

You will have. Man of Match when Rangers visited Old Trafford this season and part of Algeria's back four against England last summer.

Fits the bill very nicely. Agree on the skepticism regarding Scottish football, but he played in the championship for a while prior to that and has plenty of caps for his country.

Wouldn't be displeased at all.
