From the Merc yesterday:

Reid, who has been out of football since he parted company with the Sky Blues in January 2005, has been heavily linked with the job since Levein's sacking on Wednesday, though he has yet to make contact with the club.

He immediately became one of the bookmakers' favourites for the job alongside former City midfielder Gary McAllister, who has been ruled out of the running.

Neil Lennon could return to Leicester as boss after CL's sacking. The Celtic star enjoyed sucess at Filbert St prior to moving to Parkhead.
His agent Martin Reilly said: "Neil has a special place in his heart for Leicester and wants to be a manager"
Tim Davies said:"Neil is a hero here but the search is at an early stage"

It would have been quicker to find one of the numerous threads it's been mentioned on previously than to type your post!


The problem with getting Lennon in as a player manager is that the deal would have to be done before the transfer window closes, so there's not much time available.
 
Your sarcasm towards this poster is uncalled for Mr Webbo - you could easily have directed him to the search facility without the snotty "have you not noticed"

You lot wanting Steve Cotterill for manager really are a load of fookin idiots. The guy has won 1 point out of the last 5 games. Even Levein was better than that!

I'm not bothered either way about him. But lets not forget we are not going to have a rush of top quality managers knockin on our door.

Have a look at what he has achieved over the past 18 months, and no Levein wasnt better because he managed Nil points from his last 6 games, so please think before you post utter bollox !

Chill out Mr Fox, I know it can be a tad fustrating and annoying when spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are pointed out, but the personal abuse is out of line as well, can we not all just get along.
