successful managers are only going to be drawn to clubs that have a good record and a potential to succeed.

It could be argued that:

1) spending more time in the Prem than the Champ in the past decade and being one of a select few clubs that have won a domestic trophy in the past decade is a pretty decent record
2) a likely high profile takeover plus everything in 1) above shows considerable potential to succeed

But you could also argue against it I suppose. If you like arguing, that is. :icon_wink
