You mean he probably wouldn't have played exactly the same way as he did in the Championship had he stayed with us?

It's almost as if he's capable of adapting the way he plays based on the squad he has and the job that needs doing.

We will never know....

We were total shite today boys. Total shite. Cooper needs to get the boot tonight if we have a chance of staying up. We need a completely new defence and a decent striker as well. Just like we needed them before the season started. Who would have known…

Five live were very complimentary of Fatawu.

How did Soumare do?
he had some good moments it's very difficult for any midfielder when your main striker does not look to exploit space.

Ndidi had the best chance of the game and was unfortunate to hit the keepers leg. I am still trying to figure out what SC was trying to do today.

****ing eight o’clock and only just back

What a ****ing miserable ****ing afternoon that was

This bloke is a clueless hopeless clown of a manager.

His plan A gets more ludicrous with each passing match, he doesn’t actually have a plan B and I think the reason he doesn’t make changes or subs until it’s way too late is because he hasn’t got a ****ing clue what to do.

Yanited were absolutely ****ing dreadful and we just bent over and took a good shafting without any lube.

Embarrassing in every way

No apparent style of playing...no passion...players out of position...no signs of improvement at all.
This board don't sack managers quickly , so it's going to be a long painful watch.
But if by some chance Top does read this then please get rid and boot rudkin out too...good lad.

And an actual defensive midfielder (or two).

We have two. But Ndidi is apparently now a number 10 after being the best anchorman in the premier league for a little while.

Go figure.

Maybe Vardy will play as a sweeper next.
Who is the other one? Choudhury? Winks, Soumare, Skipp (decent player but baffling signing) are not natural defensive midfielders.

I could stomach a loss at Old Trafford, not many teams go there and win but with such a gutless performance is unacceptable.
They’ve lost a third of their home league games so far this season. Last season Brighton, Palace, Galatasaray (CL), Man City, Newcastle (EFL Cup), Bournemouth, Bayern (CL), Fulham and Arsenal won there.

I really can’t understand managers like Cooper who overthink every ****ing thing they do.

Here’s a novel idea, don’t play players out of position leaving a massive gap at RB and drop a couple of players who are underperforming week after week after week.

It’s criminal every time we see our team sheet.

Stolen from FT - this is a few seconds before the first goal…..

Kristiansen was strolling back into position after causing the whole mess in the first place.

It's notable that nobody could be arsed to cover across to pick up Kristiansen's man though.

Also, Soumare was the midfielder that should have moved out to support Justin but didn't.

I always notice that Winks has that Spursy attitude of not taking responsibility. Making him captain was an error.

It's all just a symbol of our entire approach to the game. Leave it to someone else. Don't bother too much. It's not worth it.

All about attitude, coupled with an apparent complete absence of coaching

Perfect recipe for relegation

It's been long enough now to know what's going to happen.

Irrespective of Cooper's ability as a manager, too many of the players aren't having him. It's obvious. When the players don't believe, it's only a matter of time.

There are things I like about Cooper but it doesn't count for anything. Our fate this season entirely depends on how long we take to change manager.

With Rodgers, it was too long. With Ranieri and Shakespeare, it was in time. Notice that the person making the decision is what it's all about.

Vichai recognised when it was wrong and proactively did something to change things. Aiyawatt is a dippy mess.

As with many seasons - other than Vardy, who do you put as captain? We have almost no-one in the team that you'd really class as a leader.
Coady maybe, but he's always on the bench. I wonder if you stick him in simply for the fact that he does take responsibility, and shouts at everyone to be in the right place.

And even more disturbing is that our entire team is in that shot including Hermy.

Even if we were lucky enough to regain possession there is no immediate 'out' ball.

We are/were just simply going to try and play through them and lose possession again or make a stupid error and give it away right on the edge of our own 18 yard box.

It reminds me of a kids match where you could throw a small fishing net over the entire team and normally the ball, the only difference here is that the ball is nowhere near 8 of our 11 players and most of them are marking fresh air.

Since we seem to have run out of fullbacks, playing someone who can only work in a back three would make sense.

I'm inclined to agree.
