As with many seasons - other than Vardy, who do you put as captain? We have almost no-one in the team that you'd really class as a leader.
Coady maybe, but he's always on the bench. I wonder if you stick him in simply for the fact that he does take responsibility, and shouts at everyone to be in the right place.

Coady is the only captain in the group. Vardy isn't a captain.

we have one in Ndidi (not employed as one, perhaps SC had a chat with Maresca before taking the post?) and we also have an engine in Soumare who has started to play quite well of late. Defensively we are a shambles, I feel sorry for JJ as he is hung out to dry every game because SC will not play a winger and he has Side show bob as his CB.

It's been long enough now to know what's going to happen.

Irrespective of Cooper's ability as a manager, too many of the players aren't having him. It's obvious. When the players don't believe, it's only a matter of time.

There are things I like about Cooper but it doesn't count for anything. Our fate this season entirely depends on how long we take to change manager.

With Rodgers, it was too long. With Ranieri and Shakespeare, it was in time. Notice that the person making the decision is what it's all about.

Vichai recognised when it was wrong and proactively did something to change things. Aiyawatt is a dippy mess.

SC is not utilisng what he has in his squad I would be sorely tempted to look at 5-3-2 away from home with Vesty or Winks ( he spends most of the game taking off the CB feet) as a sweeper, it would allow us to remain compact and deny space in our midfield and protect our defence. This way you can play Madividi and Fatawu and get them going forwards in attack ( it essentially becomes an attacking four with the two strikers). Can the players adapt probably not.

Playing one upfront is not working for us at all, SC has to rethink and adapt, we are one sided and one dimensional which means JJ is overloaded and then is caught out of position when he attacks. Ayew is not a traditional CF and does not look to exploit space in behind, yet that is exactly what SC appeared to have asked him to do yesterday. it is obvious it is going wrong when Ndidi is our most forward and attacking player!

Why do managers insist on shoe horning their signings into a team at the expense of the balance and shape of the team? I agree the chairman lacks that ruthless edge and I think we will continue to meander along completely rudderless.

After his ban put Buonanotte at 10. He looks like one to me. Has the attributes. Playing Wilf further forward worked OK in the championship, at this level it's a waste of ****ing time. Who knows if he can still be effective deeper today but it's certainly worth finding out, especially as we've got **** all else to put there.

& ****ing Cooper off is pointless too. I can't think of anyone who'd come here that would be any higher standard unless there's some young foreign genius under the radar somewhere.

Moyes is a short term answer to a long term problem, which is getting rid of the journeymen players and bring in some youth.

I’d rather a younger manager with a clear plan and style, who we can build a new team around. Ipswich and Southampton have done this and will be better in the long-term if they don’t bottle it with short term plans.

Cooper doesn’t seemingly have a plan, not even run hard and pressure teams. He needs to get an identity if he wants to stay manager.

It's notable that nobody could be arsed to cover across to pick up Kristiansen's man though.

Also, Soumare was the midfielder that should have moved out to support Justin but didn't.

I always notice that Winks has that Spursy attitude of not taking responsibility. Making him captain was an error.

It's all just a symbol of our entire approach to the game. Leave it to someone else. Don't bother too much. It's not worth it.

Before this season we didn't sign players like BCR (shit signing) or Ayew (decent signing). If Skipp, Winks, Hermansen and Fatawu don't count as youth, I don't have a clue what we should be doing.

I'd very begrudgingly accept that.

I could put up with a season or two of his dire, unimaginitive boreball if it meant survival. But after that I'd like to be able to have something to get excited about before I die.
3 years is probably the maximum he's got left as a potential PL manager anyway before either scraping a living in the lower leagues for a few years or retirement.
