So which one was our good half today then?

I know the points tally isn't too bad but when we have never looked like winning any of our games this season so far, including Walsall away, I think serious questions need to be asked.

I struggle to see us winning more than 2 games, and that's being generous, before the new year.

Just sitting in horrific traffic after the match.

I thought it was a fairly even match but they had the quality when it mattered, and we just didn’t.

I thought Soumare did well. We might actually have a player there.

Thought the set pieces were beyond embarrassing. And it was clear we needed a proper striker on early in that second half. I love Ayew but he’s a support man, not a lone striker

We can't defend for shit.

Meanwhile, Harry Souttar's Sheffield United have conceded just seven goals all season....

It was stunningly insightful.

He said the reason we lost is because we didn't stop them scoring the first one, the third one or the middle one.

I'm not even making that up.

I was not keeping up-to-date with the game - The first thing I saw about the game was the result. I've read this thread to see what I'd missed.

I just saw the 'review' on the BBC and it says this..."By the end, Leicester had five shots on target compared to United’s three. It is Cooper’s bad luck that all of them ended up in the Leicester goal."

Was this fair?
We we, overall, as bad as I've read on this thread?

I'm contemplating backing Chelsea to score 5. I can see it coming.

Man U are, as stated, nothing more than an average PL side. They've dropped points against almost everyone over the last few years & yet we never once troubled them.

Disjointed, confused, inept performance lacking any semblance of belief. & without a 37 year old striker held together with gaffa tape & painkillers we don't carry any sort of goal threat.

Bright spots? We have a very capable Championship manager.

Ipswich are absolutely out of their depth in this league & yet have just won at Spurs. Who thinks we would have won at Spurs today?

At this point, if nothing changes, it's Saints, us & A N Other for the drop. Everyone got something this weekend other than Saints & us & I really can't see where the next point is coming from playing like this.
I suppose the only ray of hope is that we haven't really deserved most of the points we actually have got so far but I don't think you can fluke your way to any more than 20 points across a season which means we actually have to earn another 18 to 20. I can't see it. I really can't.

& I imagine Monday will see the " Vardy needs a back operation & will be out for 3 months " announcement.

Feels like 2003 to me.
One thing’s for sure, Chelsea play with a lot more pace to their game, than we did with the same manager last season.

This was the second time I've watched EMs Chelsea and I couldn't really see anything about them that reminded me of us last year.

I don't really see anything tactically interesting about them at all. They still rely on their best players doing something special - as Neto did today.

They'll absolutely hammer us though.

You mean he probably wouldn't have played exactly the same way as he did in the Championship had he stayed with us?

It's almost as if he's capable of adapting the way he plays based on the squad he has and the job that needs doing.

Complete fraud or whatever.

Still blows my mind that people think he wouldn’t have adjusted to the demands of this league.

He’s a proper manager, Enzo.

They’ve got much better players.
Yep
