Actually, believe it or not, I'm Leicester born and bred.
But I do love this country, it's so bloody big and dangerous. A bit like Mark Viduka I suppose. :tumbleweed:

The probable reason why the agents fees have gone up is because we are actually paying transfer fees now!

Most of us had the three wretched Dutch, Danish & Iranian signings marked down to Milan anyway. As I've said before, MA2 wouldn't have even known where such countries were, let alone been aware of any players.

These were appalling signings - thanks Barry Silkman!

However, this has nothing to do with the allegations against Milan.

Everyone suspects that there are lots of dodgy dealings in football - it's the nature of the beast and if every dodgy deal came to court then there would be no time left to deal with real villains. The Football Association prat around on these issues but are as hopeless at this as everything else.

I believe that Milan will have all the answers and will come out of this unscathed except of course for the wear and tear on his nerves. At the end of the day Milan and old' harry are loveable characters who have and are doing a lot of good things for their clubs and the game.

I can't remember who he was (McKay?) but MM sacked a senior member of LCFC staff who he brought in to help MA2; I believe HE (the guy whose name I can't remember) was behind some of those signings and he was pressing for more signings... of players to whose agent he was a personal friend!! MM smelled a rat and sacked him is how I recall it. It took just a couple of views in preseason friendlies & training to see these players were hopeless cases. MM is no mug and took action, considering it's his money people are spending.
A lot of people have their snouts in the trough, it seems.

Are you saying that the authorities should turn a blind eye to football's dodgy deals because football people are not real villains?

You seem to be talking about Don Mackay.

I don't recognise your version of events though.
 
There is no doubt in my mind that MM brought in more than just N'Gotty. He claims that was the only deal he did himself, but I just can't see it.

Allen had nothing to do with at least 12 of the signings in the Summer (by his own admittance).

The only other person who could have been responsible is Don MacKay. His short spell at the club is completely shrouded in mystery. Apart from linking the moves for Hellings and Neilson with him, nothing else is known of his dealings.

MA was told about a player and either asked if he wanted him, or told that he's coming.

For this to have happened, there must have been dialogue between MM and a myriad of Agent's around the world. No doubt that some would have been legit and some a bit dodgy.

Even after MA left, all of a sudden that Ferreira chap appeared. MM must have done that one one his own.

Question is, if MM is smart with his money (as all indications suggest he is) why was he prepared to pay large sums in Agent's fees in order to recruit totally unknown and unproven players? How does MM benefit from this?

Mackay arrived after Nielsen, but he was responsible for Hellings having previously had a look at him when he was with Boro.
