Let's be honest it will all die down a bit once the football takes more centre stage and be reignited when someone leaks something in a Sunday Paper. :icon_roll

I would like to see a public face to these other "bids". ;)

If we are told to expect a decision by Christmas then yes it will, but continual rumour about answers and decisions within the next few days won't do anything to quieten it all down

Just got back from 5 days enforced isolation with Mrs NN in deepest Devon. Trying to catch up on the whole MM thing is doing my head in. I take it from the LCFC statement that nothing concrete has happened. This needs resolving or at best clarifying asap because continual rumour is disruptive for the team. Do the other bids exist or is someone creating these to drive up the MM bid??

Quite. As I said earlier I would like to see the public face of these bids. ;)

Surely one bidder totally mis-leading the fans is more than enough.

To make it crystal clear the bid currently in place from MM is nothing like £25m.

As a number of things are taking place, we are maintaining a low profile currently but being kept up to date & have attended both LCFC board meetings this week.

We don't anticipate a quick decision & there are many areas of clarification needed from any party that is interested before a proper proposal could be put to the shareholders.

is it significantly lower?

Why are you maintaining a low profile? Surely your role is to speak up for all those people who gave you money not to hide while the the big boys sort it all out!

They'll be bound by confidentiality agreements that they have signed. So, although they won't spill much, I reckon they will be speaking up where they can and when they can. And representing back some of the mad nonsense on this and other sites.

Don't know if you're still around Foxes Trust, but when you say 'nothing like £25m' are we talking about the 5m bid plus 20m loan that was rumoured earlier today, or something else?

ETA: I know you can't put specifics, but 'nothing like 25m' could still mean the rumour above.

We can't answer specifics, but something else covers it and gives little away

So in short, The Foxes Trust ie the club are not impressed with MM's bid and we are a million miles form any acceptable bid.

Is the shareholder in the Guardian and the Foxes Trust one and the same as they are the only shareholders by name that I have seen that have expressed reservations about the MM deal. :102: :102:

Surely they would be doing this at the Board meetings they have attended, which would also mean they are bound by the confidentiality of such meetings. I do not understand your criticism, as it obvious that there is a lot more going on in the background than we know so you cannot possibly criticise them for something you do not know if they have or have not done.

I think you are misleading as well, the bid to the shareholders correctly as you say is way below 25m but if you include the investment it is around 25mill.

Or is my information still wrong?

That's correct Cleefox, there is much we can't say but it is a good thing we have attended the board meetings & understand the full picture & have regular dialogue with the club between meetings as events progress.
