Re: Mandric Out?

Whilst I understand the reasons why Holloway had to go, I am disappointed for him and the club that he has left.

I feel he would have come good in League 1, there is no point replying to this point as we will never know, but I do think everyone on this site now has to lower there expectations in terms of his replacement, because I can assure you, we will all be disappointed.

Mandarics appointments to date have all failed, I see no reason to think why he will pull a rabbit out the hat for his next appointment. These are sad times at Leicester City Football Club and I feel now Holloway has gone, the future has just got an awful lot bleaker.

He did at Pompey. :icon_wink

Not me, I'm already expecting a Grade A Tosser.

Re: Mandric Out?

It took him a lot longer than he's had here before he got the right manager at Portsmouth. And he appointed the right manager there by giving his director of football the job, and we haven't got one of those.

No matter. :icon_wink The assertion was "I see no reason to think why he will pull a rabbit out the hat for his next appointment." and as you and I have proved there most certainly is. :icon_bigg

Please try to cheer up - you can be assurred that Holloway - with or without shoes - ranks in the worst two managers in the club's history.

It will be quite difficult to make a worse appointment.

I believe in Div.III the DOF is also known as the groundsman/receptionist/club shop assistant.

It could work.

Re: Mandric Out?

..... but sadly quite possible. :icon_conf

Maybe - for obvious reasons, each time we seek a manager with the club in continued decline, we are likely to attract a poorer set of applicants. Not good. Let's just hope that there is a turning of the wheel on this occasion.

Re: Mandric Out?

I would be interested to know whether Mandaric himself feels the club is now stable.

certianly more stable than the period prior to him taking over.

attacking the chairman for the managers failure is harsh, the previous board were worse but got less critiscm.

Moans about MM buying players interfering etc. but with 'no' proof, moans about sacking managers, moans about him causing relegation oooook.

Lets go back to the previous lot and either go into admin or sell all the 1st team to balance the books then we be more stable right?

Good post. There seems to be a lot of MM bashing. :018: It seems to me that MM is in the same situation as someone who has hired some crap builders each of which have promised to be better than the last lot. :icon_conf

Yep - Mandaric is a bit eccentric but he has been badly let down by managers - especially Holloway who has been rightly sacked but also by waster players who now need to be sorted out.

Re: Mandric Out?

Can someone explain why they think Mandy shouldn't shoulder the blame for the club's present situation, while the previous board were a bunch of incompetents?

Mandy proved at Portsmouth that he hadn't got a clue, but got lucky with Redknapp, fell out with Redknapp, then got lucky again when Redknapp went back.

What are the chances of him being lucky again??

Doctor Foxster........ you from Gloucester?

Diplomacy. If I had a wealthy Uncle that said 'let me build you a nice house' but then hired a load of dodgy builders, you could take several different courses of action:

1) call your Uncle, ask him when the **** he's going to finish the house and question his intelligence and call him a senile old ****.
(i.e. get him to shoulder the blame)

2) empathise with the wealthy old git and try and get him to hire some decent builders in the hope that you might still get a decent house out of it

3) get the builders to sort the mess out.

Which one would you do?
