How much should season tickets be then? Its a hard balancing act, you have to keep the main core of supporters happy by not lowering the prices to below the cost of a season ticket.

Realistically you are only talking about 18,000 tickets available for sale (with 1000-2000 going to away fans). If you started offering them at £10.00 each you will soon alienate the STH's who have paid up front in the summer.

Too true. I am now in the West Stand with my grandchildren as an ST holder. I have paid an average £21 for my seat against a casual £29. In the South Stand I believe an ST seat comes out at about £13 against a casual price of £21. If the club started routinely selling casual seats at £10 we would be seriously p*ssed off!

I dont mind the club doing deals occasionally but i'd like to think that i get a substantial discount for buying a ST.

The schemes do work as i have got thre mates to come to the 2 for £25.00 offer plus they went to the colchester game, so lord knows why they agreed to go again!

They do simple as, I reckon a scheme marketed the correct way regardless of form can get another 3k in.
