I dont like being critical of players especially when we are doing well but he really is terrible.

My view is that there is very little wrong with McGivern as a player except for his atrocious positional sense. Fortunately for him, that is something that can and will be learnt over time.

I cannot imagine for one second that he has a chance at Man City so he could end up here permanently. I for one wouldn't be against this. I think he will develop into a good left back.
