Steady on people, MdV had a good game by his standards but struggled to control the ball with his feet whenever he was in or around the area for 90 minutes. Took his goal well so credit where it is due.

I thought McCarthy, Stearman, Williams, Hughes, Joey and Smith all had great games too.
 
Do we have any injury probs after yesterdays match?
 
Me hips and me legs ache after dancing and Newtons got a sore throat, but I think we are in good shape otherwie?

Listen....MDV was up against a defence that was worth millions, he cost us just 50K. The bloke ran his socks off, never gave up. IMO he didn't look out of place in that game, he did what he was told to do, and he did it brilliantly..................:038: :038: :038: :038:

him and elvis looked alright together MDV holding the ball up wonderfully and elvis running round like a tart wonderful stuff to see...good stuff!

Elvis looked really quick yesterday - lightening in fact!
 
What's the guy have to do? I saw him take balls down, control it and lay it off well - a number of times, I saw him win lots of flick ons, I saw him leaning on defenders and giving them a hard time, I saw him just shoot wide with a corker and I saw him score a sound goal.

There were one or two occasions where he didnt get it exactly right. Last night he had a fine game is a hero.

he did well last night, and I suppose there are some tossers who will still moan about him. :102:

He is still our top scorer this season as well

the smug girl with blue earmuffs (:eek: ) especially didnt look happy.... for some reason she didnt want to make eye contact with me at the end after all the smug looks I got at 0-2... :icon_wink
