So we don't do fitness training then? Well that's just not on! He wasn't on the bench for one cup game and we are writing him off already, Jesus! Maybe in a few weeks, his fitness in training will improve and he will earn a cup place either in the team or on the bench.

He had a full pre-season the same as everyone else, so IF fitness is the issue i think it would be match sharpness rather than energy levels.

But he started Pre-season behind everyone else having not played a competitive game for some time and had very little training due to injuries. Everyone remarked how out of shape he looked. Maybe he just needs that little bit longer to get into shape? And like I said, if it don't work out, no harm done, but give the lad a chance.

I haven't said that i think he is doing any harm, or that i wouldn't give him a chance, just i lack optimism as to his usefulness if he isn't even fit enough for a subs spot in the tin cup against poorer oposition.

Earn himself a place in which cup game? It's a pointless exercise, he could have been doing this at Man City, heck they even have a reserve team so he would actually be playing football.

An Fa or League cup game, as far as I know, they are the only cups we are in? Then, if he proves himself in a non-important cup fixture, he can push for a League game.

And I don't see how its pointless, if he gets fit, we have a good player on our hands, if not, we send him back, no harm done.

Ture, the way people are going on you'd think he was only here for a month or so. He may be unfit now but by the end of September/October we could see him playing more. I can't understand why the **** I'm getting involved with this conversation though.

So, you mean like the cup game we just played? I didn't realise they get less important the further you go in the competition, I always thought everyone was trying to get to the final because It was the biggest game.

Yes, like the cup game we just played, obviously he wasn't fit enough to play the last game. And as for importance, that really depends on how you view the Cup games.

I don't really get what you think is wrong with what I said. Give him a couple of weeks fitness training, get him to play in an unimportant cup game (unimportant compared to the league if you want to be anal about it) and build his match fitness that way. Then integrate him more in league games.

He's had more than a couple of weeks fitness training, what do you think he's been doing for 2 months, playing chess?

Maybe, I don't know what board games he likes.

Like I said, fitness wise he started way behind everyone else due to injuries so may take longer to reach full fitness. So why not give him more time? But like I said, we are Leicester city fans, so **** him, let's right him off without a chance to prove himself!:icon_roll
