Morrison looked nervous and made quite a few mistakes.
Brown looked better than he did on satdee(well he couldn't be worse)
Hobbs didn't deserve to be dropped and showed why, he was solid.
Berner got stuck in and got forward well.

Gallagher needs to learn to run to the ball, not wait for it to come to him, and he also needs to learn he HAS to put his foot in from time to time, lost no end of possession cos he just stood there and the defender nicked the ball off him.
Oakley was poor, misplaced passes and faffed around mainly because of...
King, anonymous throughout, non-existing tackling put unwanted pressure onto the defence time and again.
Dyer, piss poor for 80 minutes, glad he didn't get subbed though!

Fryatt, didn't seem as involved last night but then with not much support from the players behind the front two it wasn't a surprise.

Kermit didn't do badly, had some nice flick on which found team mates each time and tried to get into space. But like Fryatt didn't seem to be in the game much.

Howard, Adams and Waghorn gave us a bit more threat going forward and I think overall we just about shaded it.

Im glad someone else thought Oakley was poor last night, Man of the match from Radio Leicester!

Maybe im not going mad after all!

Now anyone who has me on FB can agree I am partial to Oakley... but that doesn't mean I can't see when he's played tosh.

Maybe it's cos he looks more comfortable when Wellens is alongside him(ie: a decent midfielder who tackles)

Well baby sitting King for 90 mins is enough to give anyone a poor game.

Brilliant result last night, sounds like it wasnt the greatest game, but who cares if you pick up all three points. There were also some strange results last night which means we have caught back up with those above us.

Also good to see NP making the necessary changes when needed.

Bring on the Covscum on Saturday!!!!!!

Steve Gibson stayed loyal to Southgate when Boro were relegated. I hope Gibson sticks with Southgate and ignores the boo boys. After all 4th in the table suggests Boro are doing something right.

Lets not worry about things that we cant influence and might not even affect us anyway.

People are questioning NP's loyalty, yet if we went on a 5/6 game losing streak some on here would be calling for his head.

Oakley plays badly... and that's King's fault?

People with their biases...

No, King was awful, he offered no support to the front pairing or the defence meaning Oakley was covering more ground but was also making mistakes which could've cost us.

I don't think it's wrong to think that Oakley and Wellens looks a lot better in midfield than Oakley or Wellens and King.

I know I keep going on about this, but central midfielders who don't bloody tackle are a liability, and it's summat that pisses me off when I see the oppo waltz from one half of the pitch to the other, cos the player marking them will not put their foot in, instead backing off all the time and letting them be in control.

I don't give a shit if he's a local lad come through the Academy or not, ffs he should be doing the basics of the midfield role and he isn't.

Anyhoo if I think he plays well I say so, just like I say so about any of them, but I will defo say they played crap if I think they did.

Absolutley spot on there BF, sums up my feelings on King totally.

Why ta.

Don't get me wrong, I want to see the local lads come through the ranks and be the next best thing(obviously not for us cos they piss off by then) but it's not summat that happens to us really is it?

King had more time the level down, but at this level he needs to dig in more and get stuck in, cos he won't get any higher(or indeed stick at this level) if he doesn't.

Just read the Guardian report. Reckons Oakley played well and Yann did a bit of magic early on but his attempted chip was awful. Quite positive about us really...

That said it was written by a woman............

Ta like. Yows did awright too.:038:

This could be the year Drydal, this could be the year where you & I march off to Wemberleeeyyyyyy to watch the Foxes v Bluebirds final in the Play Offs.

How's your new stadia?

The Radio Leicester commentary team named Oakley as Man of the Match.

Is that a wind-up? Surely anyone who saw the game knows Oakley was pish.

:102: Doesn't look like a footballer at all.

I think overall we just about shaded it.

You were only a few feet away from me. There's no way you saw a game that different to the one I watched.

Obviously we did.:icon_roll

Are you saying Morrison had a good game?? Oakley and King had a good game?? Fryatt and Kermit were invovled and created stuff?

And by saying 'shading it', if it had stayed 0-0 no one would've complained as it was quite an even game, but us getting a goal meant we actually did a little bit more than they did.
