also today it's amazing what a bit of confidence does. First 60 we were very average and at times poor. soon as the goal went in looked a different team with Drinkwater notably having his tail up. Still don't think 352 suits us but I reckon we will only really play it away from home.

Re: The boro 1 - 2 city

Pearson got the tactical changes spot on today, at least that's how it seems to someone who wasn't there or listening.

More to do with giving the players a rocket than tactical changes. Players were half arsed first 55 mins and appeared ill at ease with 3-5-2. Then we just went for it, played at speed and five or so players grew. There were some very good displays out there but there were shockers too.

Re: The boro 1 - 2 city

Fair play, they were two cracking finishes from our goalscorers, especially Vardy. The Boro goal came from De Laet being too far forward.

More to with St Ledger allowing Jukebox a thirty yard run towards our area. Then the ball was switched towards the wing....curse of the 3-5-2 is that if teams use the overlap well, there's goals there for them. St Ledger was totally dogshite, blessing in disguise it would be getting rid.

Knockaert was atrocious for 90% of the second half of last season. Like a fat slow Nani with motor neurone. The odd glorious moment but bucket loads of indecision, giving ball away and teapotting after giving ball away. He needs to step up this season....
Great win first up. Glad to see Moore in a back three. Not so sure about stLedger or Konch.

Great stuff. Hopefully this is the mental toughness Nigel has been asking for in the players.

Someone at the OS thinks it was a 2-2 draw yesterday:102:

They don't do their own stats.
The table on TB is also wrong.

The people who do the stats made loads of mistakes yesterday, reporting the wrong scores, the wrong scorers, duplicating goals etc. The live update I got on my phone said our second was scored by Nugent.

Yep. According to the Sky Sports Score Centre app on my phone, Bournemouth and Wolves started with ten men yesterday, Wigan were 5-0 up in a game that finished 4-0, and Middlesbrough's goal was scored by both Jutkiewicz on 55 and St Ledger on 56.

Jeff Stelling tweeted last night too about problems with their vidiprinter during Soccer Saturday and it causing issues. Do they all get the data from the same source? PA?
