He sounds good, played for Benfica and has 15 caps to the U21 Portugal team! Get him in Paulo!

Wasn't exactly our most pressing position but if it means we see 'the impressive' Morrison at right back then it's all good.

With only 3 centre backs on the books, and one of them having barely played in over a year, I'd say centre back was an area in need of improvement!

Sounds good, although obviously don't really know much about him.

Quick move as well (although I guess Sousa's been on his way for a while).

Now some strikers and midfielders please

I think we Should bring a Right winger so that Gally can play up front with Fryatt! Possibly a Left Winger as well?!

I think we'll see Fryatt up front on his own rather a lot.

If he stuck to his Swansea formation then the starting line up would be like this I'd imagine. If we can bring in some better players then great, it's not a bad line up to start from really.

Weale

Morrison Tunchev Hobbs Berner

N'Guessan Gally King Wellens Dyer

Fryatt

Exactly, for me Waghorn and Fryatt are interchangeable so we're not starting off on a much worse platform than last season, player wise.

I guess we have Parkes but not sure if he's ready but has got some league experience now.

Fair play, for me he's stronger, quicker, better in the air, got a better touch and is probably on a par in terms finishing.

No, no, no. :018: Fryatt is no Howard with his head but he scores goals with it. One of few criticisms of Waggy was that he'd either foul the defender or not even jump at all when it comes towards him.

Waghorn might be a better 'immediate' player in that his style is easy to notice but Fryatt has that little bit of intelligence when it comes to giving a defender a bit of a going over. Maybe without the injury, he'd have hit the 20 goals mark which would have been impressive.

Babylon's not wrong with that side (sometimes it would be 4-3-3 like us last season) but Sousa likes a battering ram up top as well....so it could be Yann or Howard's role.

We need two or three simple additions this summer (the quality can be found lower down). If we have to loan, loan someone in when we have to.

I am not so confident about Tunchev either, I think you'll be looking October by the time he could manage a consistent run of games hence the Benfica lad is a clever back-up plan.

Agree with that assessment. Waghorn was more noticeable because he chased everything down, but that didn't make him any more a better player. Fryatt is a far more intelligent player and is far better with the ball at his feet. Fryatt has incredible ball control for someone at this level, which Waghorn never particularly showed. I'd much prefer Fryatt up there than Waghorn myself.

Most of Fryatt's goals first half of last season he was creating for himself, whereas Waghorn often needed the service from his team-mates to score.

You can guarantee we won't be seeing any 2 men up front formations under Sousa.

I've seen comments that he played that way because of the players he had at Swansea. Maybe if he has some decent strikers at Leicester he will be more ambitious.

I was going to say the same... the Swansea fans seem to be saying that they would've done better with better strikers... so perhaps Sousa just didn't have confidence in them and felt he was better off controlling the midfield more.

Managers don't play the same system at every club they go to.
