Just my opinion, but I think the RK/Ipswich rumour was a load of old tosh, and I think Webbo has alluded to the fact that the potentially libellous bit in Bruin's first post was the RK/Ipswich para.
Did I?
When I read the original thing from Bruin I thought the bit that described someone as a criminal was the bit that was most likely to be libellous. I did contact the club at the time to clarify exactly what it was they objected to, but the feckpigs haven't bothered to reply.

Good news, both Cotterill and Newell have now agreed long term deals, coincidently after both managers had been linked to our job a second time. Nice to see we can be of assistance to these managers in enabling them to secure new long term deals.
Luton and Burnley in a relegation fight next season....that would be great.
Even though neither was offered the city job, they both used the situation to better their contract talks.
After going to Luton last week, I cannot for my life see why Newell wants to stay there, crap town, crap gound and a crap future.
actually Mike Newell said after Luton's win over Derby today that he doesn't know what his chairman is on about and hasn't agreed a new 4 year deal. I'd still rather we kept Rob Kelly on. I think under him we can be challenging for the play offs next year. I don't think we will be good enough to bank on challenging for automatic promotion.
Slightly off the subject..
Am I right in thinking we haven't won a game by more than one goal under Kelly yet? Or have a missed a game...
Newell took over as Luton boss in June 2003
Luton boss Mike Newell has denied a claim made by Hatters' chairman Bill Tomlins that he has agreed a new four-year deal at Kenilworth Road.
He said: "I haven't signed a new contract and I haven't agreed anything.
"A new contract was sent to my solicitor on Friday, but I haven't seen it yet and I doubt whether my solicitor has even had a chance to read it.
"People are jumping the gun a little bit. I wouldn't put things out in public when they haven't been agreed."
You would think this would make it less likely he will sign?

No, Michael - but you would "put out in public" the fact that you are not in agreement with your chairman. What a funny set of values you seem to have. It almost makes me want to call you a "prick" - I could always edit it out later.
