Kelly is doing well, I'd be quite happy to see him stay, but if Newell does come in, which I'd also be quite happy to see, I would like RK and MS to be kept on in the coaching dept.

would never happen as Newell would want to bring in his own crew..

This is just paper bullshit, a few days before our game with them. It smells of agents mis use of media to me. Scums of the earth.

Yeah, Newell probably offered an agent a bung to get this in the media.

I thought RK had been guaranteed a job whatever happens?
in football nothing is guaranteed,it would be a shame if he was not given the job as he deserves it big time.

guarantees with Jo Bucci around? That would be novel...:icon_sad:

well i thought that this would be the case all along, we all know that newell wudn';t mind comming here as we have far better prospects than luton, ground fans ect its just that at the time no1 wanted to come to leicester, we were on one of the worst runs in the clubs history just 3 points out of the relegation zone and not won a match in 3 - 4 months. now just think for a minute, you are mike newell, somehow got a job at luton but showed everyone he is actually a good manager, got luton promoted to the championship within 18 months and 6 months later hes got luton sitting pretty in mid table championship and just shown the whole nation what he can do but getting his luton team to score 3 past the european champions, only to be beaten by 3 wonder strikes. then a couple of weeks later, leicester ask to speak to him regarding their managerial vacancy, he comes up to the interview and talks about the job, if he is a sane person with half an ounce of common sense (which looks like he is) he would turn round and say, look lads you got an excellent set up here, premiership facilities and fan base its just that you really think that after 2 years at luton getting them to where they are now, i want to leave and then have the prospect of taking leicester city into league 1 for the first time in their 125+ year history and then have a go at buying 15-20 new players and try and get them back in the championship. it would of been basically starting all over again for mike newell only with the potential for his career to be over within 6 months, i said it at the time we were looking for a manager and ill say it again now, mike newell will be comming here in the summer!!

I'll worry about who will be Manager next Season at the end f tis one.I doubt any decision has been made seeing as we don't even know what league we will be playing in next Season.

I feel a lot happier than I did just after Christmas, when my world was caving in.
RK has avaeraged 2 points a game from 7 games, and before he came in I think it would have been in Div 1 before we got that many points tallied up.
RK has done well IMO and I think he should be given the job full time as from now. Whats the point in bringing in MN and we will still have to pay Luton compo, for him and his entourage of back room staff, along with payoff for the poor feckers who will lose their jobs when ( or if) he comes. The ship has been steadied, why rock the boat and pay out more money

What I was trying to say was that The Paper Talk is probably shite because we wouldn't be in a position yet to secure a Manager for next Season until we know which League we'll be in

I know what you were saying and I was agreeing, but it will take a massive stroke of bad luck to go down now. I think we need about 3 to 6 more points to be safe. There are only a few games left now and for every one the bottom 3 lose we are getting nearer to mathmatical safety. The gapm at the moment is as good as 4 games to us

Or realist,we are by no means save yet.

I suppose, but you have to admit it's looking bright.

Wouldn't if we lost 3 on the bounce, just don't assume thats all I'm saying.

Even if we lost three on the bounce I think we'd still be about 6 points clear though. I think we need 10 more points to be safe.

but while we are losing 3 on the bounce, the others have to be winning 3 on the bounce. Not likely as that is why they are in the bottom 3 because they dont win enough.
I am not saying its not going to happen, but its unlikely. The bookies odds for us to go down have altered too over the last month

This is really disapointing that someone has made up this shite. It doesnt do any good to our players or Lutons.

Some crap journo has taken a look at the fixture list and let his pen wander because he doesnt have any other shite to write. Its fcuking disgraceful and holds no weight to anyone with any sense.
