They showed a replay from the ref's angle and you could see why he did it tbf, and besides if you go into a slide tackle with your foot off the ground in the modern game youre being stupid and asking for trouble

No doubt Chelski fans will try and blame the ref for this, trying to paper over the fact its the players and manager who lost them this game and the reason they currently lack form. They were truely awful today, both before and after Lampard's red card and deserved to lose by 4 or 5

Oh, and on the Bosingwa incident. I think it was the linesman, not the ref tbh, he was about a yard away. And it was one of the most malicious and deliberate "challenges" i think ive ever seen, and Bosingwa deserves to get a very lengthy ban for it

Yeah, definetely the linesman should've been the one to call it... but Riley should have seen it too, it was so blatent.

I didn't see much of the 2nd half properly (had it on in the other room while we were having dinner), but Chelsea were pretty woeful... seemed to have no real spark, page or creativity to them. Kalou and Malouda are both pretty wank anyway though.

Always nice to see Chelsea lose.

Chelsea were awful all game, makes me laugh how Scolari was claiming the Lampard red card changed the game, but Liverpool completely outplayed them throughout and always looked like winning

Jamie Redknapp has to be the worst pundit this side of Chris Kamara. Hus bias towards England players is unbelieveable. Had that red card been against anyone other than Lampard, Gerrard or Terry, theres no way he wouldve kicked up such a fuss and starting whinging so much

I think Chelsea need a good clearout,too much of Mourinhos influence still in there.Liverpool needed the win but unless they can beat Man Utd then I can't see them catching Utd.Liverpool are definately a better side than last season though
