or you could put another spin on it-we've signed two has beens one gambling addict and two youngsters that no-one else wanted though i'm willing to stay positive.....
I don't see what the negativity is about, there is still plenty of time. Remember as the great man, Craig Levien used to say, "negativity will not get us promoted!"
Falling for the spin
So if N'Gotty is better and the others are the same... doesn't that mean we're up? Or did you mean we are down as in relegated? :icon_confOverall, I reckon we're down. Perhaps N'Gotty aside, the players signed look no better than the ones we've let go.
Thinking about it the signings are really bad:
Nielson- Rejected by Millwall and never believed good enough for English footie.
N'Gotty- Has been that has had his past glories and now looking for one last fat pay cheque.
Carl Cort- Dodgy knees, over-rated, hardly played of late
Sappleton- Young lad, interested two Premiership clubs briefly - until they had him on trial and found out how useless he was.
Hellings- Fallen star, plucked from amateur footie in the Dutch 2nd division
MA has taken some major risks in signing these players on more then 1 year deals.
Ok Mandy hasn't spent any cash out of his pocket - he is very tight
We will nto get promoted - Remember as the great man, Craig Levien used to say, "negativity will not get us promoted!"
No wonder Milan chose this club - because he can string the fans along with ridiculous ease, almost without question.
If only we were all big mean cynics like you :icon_roll
Yea and if only we were all a bit more cynical when Elsom was in charge prehaps we wouldn't have ended up in administraion.....
Everything, without exception, has been treated by most negatively so far. And I am fed up of being told I have blinkers on, or an being spoon fed PR just because I dare to get excited over a ****ing signing.
Thats because we could have signed most - if not all of these players without Milan's takeover. Therefore right now all this shite about him spending big to get us promotion is currently lies.

There has been no shite about him spending big? Everyone is aware they are free transfers? Or are you referring to the 25m banded about by the mercury, which none of us believed anyway? Or more importantly are you just moaning because you want to be seen as "against the machine" and believed yourself that there would be huge signings and now look a prat for believing it?
Some people will have belived that the £25million figure is correct, those who don't have the internet or don't read these forums will not know that it was a load of BS.
However the Mockery was quite clearly a mouthpeice for Milan.
IM not 'against the machine' and if you look back at my posting history I've always been less than happy with Milan and his take over. However I am more than willing change my view if I see him actually investing in the club and not just trying to string everyone along.
For example look at this interview on LCFC world. He is harping on about how free transfers arnm't really free cos you have to pay agents etc... well they are still many many times Cheaper than buying players Milan, but of course you wouldn't ever admit to that.

Why does it concern you if he pays money for them or gets them on a free? If they are good players and win it matters **** all. You strike me as being exaclty the type of persion who would moan if we got Kaka in if he was free
Thinking about it the signings aren't all bad: They aing great either
Nielson- Rated highly in Denmark, never know could do a job here. MA has never seen him play live
N'Gotty- old but did do it at this level last season, has played in europe with ac milan. Could do OK if his legs havent gone
Carl Cort- once a 7million player, hampered by injuries could come good if he stays fit Lets be honest he wont stay fit
Sappleton- Only 17, was wanted by premiership teams. he didnt choose us over any premiership teams lets be honest
Hellings- once a 2 million euro player only 22 once a 2 million euro player yet playing part time up until the other day
MA has taken some major risks in signing these players on more then 1 year deals. But surely if MA is the man for the job he will get the best out of these players.
Ok Mandy hasn't spent any cash out of his pocket YET but there is still time, the season doesn't start till August. Could be another 5-10 players coming into the club. Carl Cort & N'Gotty can't be on bad wages, so surely MA will have a higher wage budget then RK did.

Thats not the case - I'm just not giddy with excitement over these lupe warm signings.
Seems anyone who doesn't agree with Milan on here should grab their tin hats.:icon_roll:icon_roll
