Please tell me you're joking?

Big Sam is not going to give up a UEFA Cup spot to come manage a bottom half Championship team!

I'm wondering if this delay is due to a move for MM's preferred target falling through? I thought he would've known by now who he wants, but him saying he is going to take his time over it suggests that it will be at least another week or so until we hear anything.

Paul Jewell

Having seen Sven mentioned today, I remembered that I had a dream last night that Sven was in talks with MM about taking the Leicester job. Maybe there's something there ;)

And I think Durham's point with Jewell is that while he might leave Wigan, bigger teams may want him. Having said that, I think Newcastle are the only team really looking for a manager. Sven, Allardyce and Jewell can't all go there ;)

i am pretty confident in saying that Chris Coleman will be the new manager,

he wanted to spend time with his kids and family, and chris is prob away on a family hoilday and when he comes back he will be the new mananger in that time MM will be looking at the players contracts and players avialable that he can bring to the club, and when the time is right Chris Coleman will be annouced as the new Leicester City Manager

Incidentally not unrealistic to poach a due to be out of work prem manager or out of work manager.

Surely better (if you're out of work) to take a job with real prospects of promotion than a struggling prem team with a greater % risk of failiure.

Joining us would give the manager a chance to build a new team and still be abel to get out of this league even with a shaky start (Sunderland) rather than go to a prem team that is already struggling where you have zero time to turn things around????????
