He was there today, I shook his hand as he walked by while we waited to get into the ground.

:038: :038:

I think it is very brave of him to continue to turn up, considering that he will be left disappointed in his bid to get the necessary shares... according the the trust that is.

Come on Milan, buy us you beast...

Trust/Shareholders in general you must do the right thing and sell to this man. Hes a footballing man and is what we need...

Surprised MHS had a hand free to shake with, what with all the food he was carrying.

Apparently he made a grab for what he thought was a sausage roll, another 5 seconds and he would have had a right mouthful

When did the trust say that?

Answer number 1b

Only going by what was in the local rag... as reported by Handy Man. I suppose it does not technically say he will not get enough votes to gain control of the club. But as they want to keep their 3%, JJ is hinted at in the report at keeping his 3%, and the report states that the trust knows that it will cost him votes in his reported leakage to the Mockery.

I am simply putting 2 & 2 together and getting 10%+. If the Mockery can report selectively and use conjecture, can I?

It wasn't a statement of fact by me though... more of a mardi ass comment on the whole situation:icon_wink

Yes of course you can HO. But that doesn't mean it is correct.
Your assumption is the same as that joke of a newspaper that is about as balanced as an alcoholic that has had one of his legs removed.
It's an absolute f uckin shitrag that has pissed me off more than anything else in this whole feckin shambles.
The Foxes Trust has behaved impeccably throughout, in my honest opinion, although I'm sure that this isn't a very fashionable opinion.

And I was having a dig at them with that vey point.

I am going to use assumption here, but I would guess that the Trust was not happy with the first draft of the article that hit the news stands, and asked for the full transcript to be published.

It would appear that the 'newspaper' did that and have left us to draw our own conclusions.

And I will add that with the Trust saying in the transcript that his selling the bid through the paper will cost him votes, either they have it in writing before a bid has allegedy been received by shareholders that other shareholders than themselves will refuse to back the bid regardless of its nature and its importance to the future of LCFC...

Or they are speaking for themselves... which is a contradiction to what is written further down when they say they are neutral until a bid is received...

So what is it?

Whilst it might be desirable for MM to be voted 90%+ of the shares so he can legally buy the rest, he only needs 51% to totally control the club - he simply outvotes everyone else then!

But he's already said that he is not interested in owning part of a football club,
