I also had a thought tonight, and it's probably wide of the mark, but contract normally run June to June, if Pearson had just finished his second year it would probaby mean compo would be less and there may be a clause to let him talk to other clubs in his last year. Who knows I guess.

:102:

Does that mean you understood it then? :icon_lol:

It's been a long day, let me break it down!

  • Pearson has a 3 year contract
  • Contract in football seem to run June 30th - June 30th
  • Maybe the fact he left now is that he has now entered his last year of current contract
  • Maybe his contract with us had a clause to allow him to talk to other clubs in his last year

Like Homer said, it makes as much sense as any other bollocks posted here recently!

Some guy on Foxestalk reckons Milan is selling up to the Arabs.

The Arabs??? Which Arabs?

Wait, why am I even asking? There are no 'Arabs', it's just made up bullshit.
When will I learn to just ignore this kind of nonsense?

I know exactly what you mean. We know there are no rich Arabs begging to be allowed to purchase Leicester City; you may even be like me and dislike all this money sloshing around and distorting the game but.......

I've heard that the Arabs are to take over this week and appoint Wayne Brown as player manager.

It's all the bullshit sloshing around and distorting of the truth that I actually dislike

It's driving me mad I tells thee, I am now starting to question what I know as true simply through the power of repetition. It doesn't help with our supposed media outlets (i.e. Stringer) just latch onto and propegate the shit.

Stringy is a ****ing idiot.

On the 'emergency' moan-in, he tried to make out that Sousa was an original idea of his, that he'd like to see appointed.
Instead of just being honest and saying that he was just regurgitating bollocks that he'd read on the Internet, same as everybody else.

Lance Tomlyn. What a complete and utter c*ck. I should imagine he represents the entire membership of the Independant Supporters' Association. And as for the Mercury calling him a fans' leader by that definition, I'm President of the Known Universe.

I don't know Lance Tomnlyn and what personal issue you have got with him. However, I agree with every word he has written on this subject.

Come off it Silver, this Lance Tomlyn sounds a right ****. A typical "I could do better than Milan" type. It is really easy to spout off like that when it is somebody else's money at stake. For all we know Pearson could have been a bigger moaning **** than Homer.
So would it not be best for Tomlyn to shut the **** up and concentrate on giving the next manager a bigger welcome than we gave the twat who has just left.
Start brushing up on your Portuguese for a start

Like I said, I don't know how I feel about the guy on a personal level, but he does make some interesting points that I agree with.

I think that you are right too...we do need to be a bit more welcoming than we were at the time of Pearson's appointment.

I would certainly welcome Sousa since I expect much worse. My guess is that we are going to get someone who has failed elsewhere and is desperate to get back into football.

I would welcome him because he would possibly have the most extravagant haircut of any Leicester manager. Nigel's was boring. These things are important.

**** off! Sousa was my idea!
I first mentioned it whilst eating a burger in SK2 at half time in the match against Sheffield Wednesday. I said Pearson looked pissed off and I bet he ends up at Hull of all places.
