I would think that this will guarantee him losing the case against the Mirror if it comes to court- The slander he claims the Mirror commited on his character is not that he sacked MA, but that he sacked someone who saved a fellow staff member's life just hours after the event. Since the two he says saved the life have been sacked, he's shown the content of his character himself

You haven't trained as a lawyer have you?

Suprised that no one's picked up on this

So what he has done is ruthlessly sacked the physios hours after they saved a players life. As the man says himself, it's nothing short of a disgrace.

I'm with the peeps who dislked this post, Mandaric has been shown to play the media well, but calls for 'trust' and 'unity' are the last refuge of the scoundrel.

My only regret is that I didn't act before Wednesday. I gave serious thought to taking the decision on Sunday and with the benefit of hindsight I wish I had.

I would say that it was a very very hard decision for him to make after what happened to clive.
They were part of the MA team.

I think they should both be made to fight to the death, using only standard kitchen whisks and their cunning. Whoever wins that will get my approval. Until then I am sitting on the fence.

I never understand the idea of sitting on a fence to keep out of trouble. Either fences were made of sterner stuff in days of yore or posteriors have filled out. If you sit on my fence, a large part of my neighbours property will hove into view and you'll get a splinter in your ..................
person.
Safer to take sides.

Or something did happen on tuesday night and if action had been taken on sunday then the sad events involving Clarke may never have happened, just a thought :102:

Can I just ask ,roughly when when will the grieving process end on here and when will we move past the "why did he get sacked" rumours, speculation and guesswork?

Just asking because I'm bored now

When the new man is appointed.

-----

Of the two that saved Clarkes life, only Doyle was sacked. Rennie has been at the club for years (even under MON i think, maybe earlier) he is still with the club.

To resort to correcting the English of a Serb proves to me that they don't have much to criticise.

Surely Milan would be beyond reproach regarding the spelling and punctuation. I mean, it's not as if he's going to type the words into FrontPage himself and upload it is it?

Sack the LCFC website guru I say.

You know what, I honestly don't think ANYTHING sinister has happened at all.

I think it's all down to the fact that MM has decided that he can't work with MA, personally I think their egos clashed far too often and more than likely MA saying what he thought got him the boot. And tbh, you can't really have a pop at your employer and not expect things to be safe jobwise...

They did, on Wednesday :icon_bigg

Absolutely. But that's much less interesting than a good conspiracy.

I do not think that it mattered what year, month or day. Mr Clarke had a unknown heart defect, his attack could have come at anytime.
It just made it a lot more difficult for MM.

We don't know that do we :102:

We can all speculate on what has happened, truth is none of us know and due to the confidentiality agreement then it is unlikely we ever will. I am not suggesting any conspiracy theories, merely trying to point out that any amount of spin and conjecture can be placed on quotes made by either MM or MA dependant on who you care to support.

Not true as of yet.

They may of been a cause - hence the probable chance of him playing football again. Puerta had an irregular heartbeat, it wasn't unknown, he had 4 previous attacks including 2 on a pitch.

I think that irrespective of the cause, the chances of him playing professional football again are seriously restricted. Not because of health reasons or being able to cope with the rigours of training and such like, but simply because wherever he goes, his club will be unable to insure him and therefore will be unable to play him. Regretable I know, but a sign of the times I'm afraid.

Yes i agree with you.
To add.

I really think that MM wanted Fowler but he after some discussions backed down to MA and went for DJ.
When MM went after Hasselbaink and who knows what happened with all the confusion with the medical, this might have been the straw that broke the camels back with MM furious with MA over this.
This could have simmered for a while, when MA came out to say that there was no rift , i did not hear MM backing him up.

Like you say we might never know the truth.

Maybe beaumontfox hit the nail on the head with that post.

Well, that ill-considered, petty and frankly juvenile statement issued by Mandaric will have made it clear to any potential manager that however successful they may be they can expect to be history if they don't get on with a moody and unpredictable employer.

Which doesn't automatically rule out a good appointment, but makes names like Warnock (desperate to get back into management) and Rodgers (first chance at management) more likely than Jewell (why would he want the headache?) or anyone currently in a job.

I'm a bit surprised there aren't more people who find it it embarrassing having their football club become a plaything of a rich egomaniac. Mandaric is putting me off Leicester City a lot faster than the previous three years of dismal stinky football were managing. English Hearts anyone?

We do not know the facts Polar, I hear there were many 'senior' players unhappy with Allen too. We need to know the facts before we may judgements, especially of those responsible for saving the club from another season of struggle.

I think we can make a judgment on the statement easily enough, it's there and it reads like the words of a man who does not have anyone around him with the balls to say "This is not a good idea." Or to correct his spelling and punctuation, which makes us look amateurish as a club. As for the reasons behind MA's departure, I've heard three different versions already, I doubt we will ever know the full facts. Mandaric seems happy enough it should be that way. As for saving us from a season of struggle, I'll reserve judgment on that till it's over!

i dont know how you improve your cv but if paul jewell could turn us into a prem regular with mm as a chairman, some big club ( ie spurs etc ) would be interested in him should they have a vacancy at there club.
