You still haven't explained why you think the midfield choice was wrong despite their performance against Ipswich.

Millwall different type of team to Ipswich. Playing both King & Gallagher was always going to play right to Millwall's strengths.

However, it's true Pearson had limited options with Danns unfit. It's also true that Sven deluded supporters and possibly himself about our playing strength by bringing onto the pay roll midfielders who were effectively ex-players turned long term invalids.

I'm sorry to say that Pearson seems to be on auto pilot with his tactics and his whole public demeanour is quite unconvincing these days.

I'm not saying that Pearson should be sacked because we don't want further turmoil and his home results have been acceptable. But we are usually a pushover away from home and we concede far too many goals to be a credible promotion challenging team.

I will almost guarantee that the chap/lady who gets promoted is the one that is in earliest in to the office in the morning and goes home last. The person who swans in, does something brilliant, and goes home, will be castigated. :102:

Not in my experience. The person in your first example is usually the one taken advantage of and given nothing in spite of being a major asset to the company.

Millwall may be 17th in the table, but on form over the last six matches they are second only to Reading, having won four of them, including the last three.

Yeah but they were all against poor opposition, especially their last game.

Just because they are there the longest doesn't make them an asset.

No it doesn't. But I speak with some bitter experience having worked very long hours for no reward in the recent past.

EDIT: and yes, I did do work that was beneficial!

And there was your mistake: if you want to work short hours, earn a fortune AND be respected by 'the right people' do something totally useless in the City!
