It really is over now. Losing this kind of match is typical of how this season has gone, unfortunately. I'm not too disheartened. Before last week I'd assumed it was finished with anyway. I don't think we're that far off. We do well against the better sides in the league which would suggest we have some ability at the club. A few additions and perhaps a bit of work on whatever mental weakness/arrogance there may be around the squad and we'll be just fine next season.

I know what you're saying but I can understand why NP went with that lineup after our win at Ipswich.

In some ways it's a relief that it appears to be over. Hopefully they will release the season ticket prices now. My main hope for the club is that the owners keep Pearson in charge and give him the time to build a side of his own. He did pretty well when given that opportunity last time he was here.

Perhaps but I thought a manager like Pearson would have seen he needed a bit of tenacity in there. Bring them on again in the second half if need be.

I think he puts more of a shift in than Gally and he'd collect more free kicks too. The annoying one was King though.

Other than the first 15 minutes we were spineless. Konchesky is a petulant prick. Bam a was the best player on the pitch. The midfield was non existent and we certainly lacked any edge.

Gallagher makes my blood boil.

They wanted it more - simple.
