Good point. But I suspect in the "olden days" there was plenty of singing in the crowds without fighting and trouble.

The main difference was the working class male was almost 100% of the attendance

ahhhh ................Those were the days......

I must admit I have some doubts over RK simply because with the absence of Joey we have the same squad now as last May. Could the players only play well last May because relegation was loomimg? In that case it calls into question RK's ability to motivate the players.

Josh Low on for Sylla today....... now that baffled me.

RK does some funny things..... Dont think he will be here much longer

if RK went all out to win games last season and failed, it was not his team and he was trying to save a season going no where. this season it is more his team and targets and he is being overly cautious in my opinion. thought preston were shit though

:018: Come on Jeff, show a bit of satisfaction with the news, it's what this club has needed for the last 125 years. As you yourself have pointed out, you're not anti MM :icon_wink

No, I'm not anti MM, but I don't see him as the messiah either. I trust the board and shareholders judgement when it comes to giving him control of the club but I'm not going to get caught up in the hype and the over expectation that comes with it.

The point I was making is that there was a match to be played, it was in danger of being overshadowed by other events, when from 3PM everyone should have been focused on what was happening on the pitch rather than being distracted because someone's been given permission to look at our accounts.

I did think it was a bit strange that the statement was read out on the pitch by Birch (rather overenthusiastically), fair enough some there might not have heard the news, but there is still plenty of time for MM to pull out, someone else to come in or something to go wrong - the way it was being presented was as if it was a done deal, not just some guy being allowed to look at our accounts.
