Thank goodness for soembody with a good memory - somebody who can see the wood through the trees!

Yes Boc - the FT as soon as the Board accepted the MM approach in principle and then more strikingly when they saw the level of dismay that the initiative was going through the window, have tried to pretend that they were simply asking the relevant questions. I'm afraid that when this takeover bid is officially pronounced dead that anyone researching the steps to the debacle will identify the negative input from the FT. I am not daft enough to say that this was decisive but it certainly didn't help .....and is part of the mess up by the club that seems to have killed off MM's interest.

So I guess it is not going to happen today, and we will miss out on the reported four players MM had lined up for January.

What is the deadline for loan signings?

Another £6 million would be enough for the immediate future yes, but is highly unlikely unless a couple invest way over their previous levels or some additional local people get involved (that is possible)

how about you think outside the box and think ahead of the near future, 6 million will push the problem away for a year, why not get the investment quadrupled get another 18 million instead of 6 mill, change the chief exec, change the manager and push for promotion, premiership football solves the problem.

Yeah, remember we still have no confirmation that they have found the table yet...and as I reported earlier the blinking monkey was spotted leaving the Walkers.

No bread no butter. No bread no butter.

You are simply speculating-I'm not.

Not speculating at all.

Your figures suggest that the shareholders are going to get up to £8M for shares that only cost them about £6M - that is incorrect. I did however get my arithmetic wrong - your figures were only exaggerated by about 40%.

read my posting. The £4.5m is not a payment to shareholders .It is the payment by mm on completion of the deal.Shareholders get 50% of value next year if we don't get promotion and 100% if we do.
Anyway s**t is really going to hit the fan later this morning.
