Sousa reminds me of a manager version of Mandaric. They both constantly use terms like 'desire' 'commitment' 'passion' etc to bluff their way through things.

Genuinely concerned at the moment.

In both cases, it's a lack of vocabulary. Nothing more, nothing less. However, it does to bring to an attention (the thought crossed my mind this morning when I was discussing management in general with work colleagues) how does Sousa attempt to convey his tactical goal and assessment of a player's performance to the squad/player.

He might've been a bit nervous almost, his first time communicating with our fans in that way... could be over keen to impress and say the right thing... which comes across as generic babble.

I don't agree. It's nothing to do with vocabulary, the entire answer is unrelated to the question. It's not even along the same lines.

At last. Someone else who can smell a shit storm when one is brewing.

Sometimes it's like being surounded by the stepford wives reading the love in with our trendy new manager on here.

Two of his four signings so far (the RB and CF) are just 'chuck a dart at a list of players' signings. His setting up of the team on Saturday was lame. Progress in terms of fitness and sports science under NP have been ditched without a second thought. In all the interviews I've heard and read, he makes no sense whatsoever.
