... played 30 mins in a friendly behind closed doors at the Belvior Drive training ground ...

Presumably this was to stop him being blown over by any light breeze or traumatised by City fans yelling "Who are you, who are you ..."!

I hope that he wasn't asked to run or kick a ball.

It's outrageous asking him to play against other players, he could have been tackled or anything.

cumon giv the guy a chance... u neva no we could get lucky, he could be the next ian marshall :P

the man who at my football presentation drank 14 pints on stage and neally fell off

:P

good luck to him I say. Ill be supporting him when he gets back to 'full' fitness. Cant wait to see him play again.

I don't think we should underestimate the power of this potential goal celebration... (just imagine him charging to the corner flag with his hankies)

Is he any good?:icon_roll :102:

As Craig Levein said in a recent interview, someone once paid 2 million pounds for the lad. He must have some potential and talent.

Or perhaps that was the NHS bill for his treatment last year. I forget now:icon_lol:

But seriously, he was valued at 2 million at one stage. The potential is there but he has had a nightmare in terms of injuries. Possibly he was played too often in his early career. Sometimes when you play a player who is too young and not yet physically developed, it can properly **** them over for their entire career.

Its a shame really.

didnt look to bad when he came on in the game I saw (sure someone will say which game it was). But really wasnt enough to assess the lad.

If he can manage to get the old boots on again it will probaly be like a new signing for us. Lets hope that he feels the need to repay both the club and the fans by doing the bizz on the pitch.

Yeah, at the end of the day he is a city player and should get our support. Best of luck Lee. You are playing for a contract lad!

That's a bit of a tall order! How are we supposed to know which matches you were at.

It seems amazing that Lee Morris actually took part in no fewer than TEN games - they were all squashed into November and December of last year. What will come as no surprise is that he came on as a sub in eight of them and that he didn't finish the two games he started.

OK then - time for a little honesty. Who knew that Morris had made 10 appearances? And who is completely surprised by the fact?

I'd have to say ME to the second of these questions!

He only didn't finish those matches because he was doubled over with exhaustion after ten minutes. He had literally no match fitness to speak of.

how many minutes for those 10 appearances :icon_conf

TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR

Now answer the question. Did you realise that he had made 10 appearances?
