He only didn't finish those matches because he was doubled over with exhaustion after ten minutes. He had literally no match fitness to speak of.

Absolutely true!! The most he managed was 53 minutes. If you ignore that and the other superhiman effort when he managed to last a whole half, the average time spent on the pitch in his other 8 appearances was less than 20 minutes.

But you didn't say whether you realised that he had already made 10 appearances.

I honestly had no idea.

OK then - time for a little honesty. Who knew that Morris had made 10 appearances? And who is completely surprised by the fact?

I'd have to say ME to the second of these questions!

its in his stats on the official website which i remember looking at a few months ago, so i did know, but was surprised when i read it.

If he can manage to get the old boots on again it will probaly be like a new signing for us. Lets hope that he feels the need to repay both the club and the fans by doing the bizz on the pitch.

I have been waiting for such a posting....you have taken the words right out of an inevitable OS announcement - "like a new signing for us"....!!!

The triumph of forlorn hope over reality, I'm afraid.

I did see Morris play:eek: in one of those games he came on as substitute --at Wigan when we drew 0-0 and he looked quite bright and looked to have a bit of pace about him. He almost scored as well and looked to be brought down for a penalty which wasn't awarded.

Lets just wait and see
You never know .:102:

the wigan game is the only game i remember him playing so i am very surprised by the fact he made so many apperances then again my mind is failing me fast

I remember seeing him come on as sub at the mid-week Crewe away game - he looked quite lively.......never saw him again to my knowledge.

bloody hell. Only said maybe someone could help with the game as I ddint realise he had made 10 appearances. Really cant believe it.

"Bloody hell" is really quite mild when compared with what I said when I looked it up!
