wouldnt be averse to De Jong. Class competitor for when we need 4-2-3-1
If Palace are in for Shelvey though id like to see us go for him. Young and the best passer of a ball ive seen at the KP in the past 12 months. Would keep Drinkwater on his toes.
Inler Benalouane Krameric out
Dragovic Pereira De Jong Shelvey in

plus a Striker - Slimani?

You mean 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 surely? In a 2 man midfield Drinkwater and Kante should play every game.

I think Jonjo Shelvey is possibly the most overrated player ever.

You'd get rid of a European Captain without giving him any real chance to get used to the pace of this league, when he's played very few games and did the job he was required to do very well against Man City?
Why? Not every player we ever buy is going to be exceptional in the premier league from day one with absolutely no let up. This attitude last season would have seen Cambiasso being shipped out who, let's face it, was not great in the first half of last season.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that Inler leaving would be anything but his choice based on his need for football before the European Championships.
