Quick trawl around Facebook and I found that Kapustka has supposedly confirmed to Polish media that he's coming to Leicester in a 'new chapter' of his career...

Fantastic news.

My Polish isn't too good, but Google translates the headline as:
"Kapustka confirms: I'll play Leicester City"

And the bit underneath as:
"I'm not going there just because the fun is the name of the club and last season won the championship of England - said Bartosz Kapustka, who confirmed that the move from Cracovia to Leicester City."

The fun of the name of the club isn't enough for him? Starting to doubt his motivaton now...

No it's not since I don't speak Sami. Easy to copy/paste though.

To show my utter depths of ignorance concerning languages what the fizz is 'Sami'? I could just about cope with 'Haldditcohkka', but what the name means is a complete mystery and probably my pronunciation is also wrong.

The language the Sami people (also know as Lapps) speak. If it is any comfort for you, I don't have the faintest idea about what Haldditcohkka means either, or how it is pronounced. It would only be pure hysterical unfounded speculation from my side to try to guess.

But that's what this thread is for !!!

Ranieri refuses to discuss Kapustka but in a roundabout way it sounds like it's close: http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/lei...oland-winger/story-29566027-detail/story.html

Clubcall says he arrived in the UK Thursday for a medical so the deal could be completed this weekend.

I didn't think we'd be letting anyone go really other than the obvious (RDL, Inler, Moore), but if we sign Kapustka where does that leave Schlupp? We'd have Gray, Kapustka, Mahrez and Albrighton as wingers, Musa can play there too, while Chilwell is ahead of Schlupp at left back now.

I'd be a bit disappointed to see Schlupp go and I think Ranieri likes him, but can't see him getting too many games

Standard squad is to have 2 in every position, so no problem with 4 wingers. It is the job of the number 2 to be pushing to take the place of the number 1 choice, or in Schlupp's case pushing to stay number 2 over Kapustka at number 3. Just because we buy a player does not mean they are earmarked as a number 1 starting choice.

13 more games due to the champions league and we may take the domestic cups seriously too...could need a big squad.

What a horrendous thought *shudders*

I was talking about the new lad. That said, Schlupp definitely played through the middle in spells last year. Don't think he ever started there but was definitely rotated through during the game. Seemed to work out fine.
