Speculation Motown's hysterical and annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded Summer 2016 rumours thread

Mahrez was and still is better IMO. Knockaert is a great player at that level but seemed to struggle in the Prem. He's a great player to watch and clearly cares about his football club which is great to see. Picked up a goal and was the instigator of some great attacking moves against Forest.

He showed precious little of that in his final weeks with us.

Indeed. Also the same lot that played yesterday weren't short of pashun last season. If Knocky was the answer then last year was a total fluke beyond logic.

Although he couldn't have done much worse than King did yesterday

Ok, I'll get me coat

One bad game, and we start yelling for Knocky. Who's next? Konch?

Could be useful in the championship next season. We might be up against Arsenal for him though judging by their current score. Have the top two from one season ever been relegated the following season? Doomed and le ****ed the pair of us.

Liandro Martis the young dutch lad we had on trial (also been on trial with Manure), has chosen us and signed a 3 year deal .. source: LCFC YOUTH Twitter

Apparently offering Schlupp a new deal to persuade him to stay - but can't give him reassurances on game time http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/leicester-city-transfer-news/story-29618425-detail/story.html

Although Sport Witness says he could complete his move to WBA tomorrow.

Weirdly the Merc article also says we've rejected Reading's bid for Moore and also want to offer him a new deal! Not sure why we'd do that... Think if he was going to make it with us he would've by now

He clearly has ability but for some reason he's gone backwards the last couple of years. Maybe the people that make these decisions think if he spends the season in the Championship he'll be ready for a place in our squad next season.

With the money that's around at the moment it might be less of a risk to give him a new deal and hope he makes it than it would to let him go and have to buy a replacement in a year.

I've read reports though that say he's turned down the contract offer and will leave next year if we don't let him go now.

Moore at his worst would still be decent enough in last match's side. We (Pea Son) killed his confidence, if he can't play for us now he never will.

If he can't play for us now he never will?

The defenders he has to displace have just won this club it's first top flight title.

I don't see the link. My reference to last weekend's match was flippant, not an indication that he should be slotted in.

He hasn't been able to raise his game to challenge for a spot since his crushing loss of self-confidence...therefore it looks distinctly unlikely he will make a challenge for a spot this season. So, yes, if he can't play for us now he never will.
